Oh my Karen, I hope you get to feeling better soon. Take care of yourself!

I walked another mile at lunch - 16 minutes.

My doc called in a new prescription for me this morning. Hoping it'll be ready to pick up soon and will kick this thing finally.

Even though I'm not walking...I'm still thinking WATP!! I got an email from Leslie's walk club about a new walking program she's releasing and naturally I just HAD to order it! LOL It's called the Walk Slim System. Check it out on her website (lesliesanson.com) It sounds interesting I thought the price was good for all that's included. Can't wait to feel better and get the new program and get busy again!

Hi everyone!!! Karen, I hope you start feeling better soon. I'm impressed you're even thinking about WATP while that sick.

Michele, I'm sorry about the bad day and having to work this weekend. Yuck!!!

I went skiing again yesterday and had a great time. We did 14 runs - at about 1 mile per run - I did semi deep knee bends for 14 miles (6 hours). My legs are sore and tired today.

But I still did WATP - I did 3 miles walking and then the ab lounger. Now I'm ready for a nap.

Karen, I bought the WalkSlim system, too! Can't wait to get it!

I did the Heart Healthy Walk this afternoon, plus I took a walking tour of our new high school (set to open in August)! It was over a mile, though it certainly wasn't aerobic! I'm planning on doing at least 1 more mile tonight.

I have procrastinated on doing school work and will pay for it tomorrow!

UPDATE: I did 1.06 mile in 20 minutes on the treadmill tonight!

Well, I've already been to school and done MOST of what I needed to get done. What I have left can be done at home tonight. Though, I'm not sure it will be necessary as we are supposed to get up to 6" of snow by 9am tomorrow morning! I'd love to have a snow day--I'd do a LONG workout, make a home-cooked supper and just generally work on my house!

This afternoon I did the 4 mile Super Challenge, too! I'm WAY ahead on my miles for January--I might even surpass my goal!

Hope you all have a great week!

Michele

I did 3 miles of snowshoeing yesterday and somehow I wormed my way into tagging along on DS and almost DIL's snowboard trip today. So.... I'm going skiing again. Tomorrow I'll be back to WATP but for now it's outdoor sports (i.e. special fun stuff on my days off...).

Good afternoon! We ended up with just a late start due to snow this morning. So, I took full advantage and did the 3 mile WATP with the ab belt! I'm feeling really good right now, since the scale showed another drop of 1.8 pounds! So I may even add another mile tonight. Hubby is out of town for a business trip, so I can set the kids up for supper and do my own thing!

Have a great week!

Good morning! I got up and did the 3 mile with 3 pound weights this morning! This afternoon is full of driving to and from appointments (DD starts the process to get braces), so I knew I wouldn't get anything done later.

Have a great day!

Just wondering, what does WATP stand for? Thanks.

Jo, it stands for Walk Away the Pounds - a video exercise series by Leslie Sansone (just google her name and you'll get loads of hits).

I did not exercise today. Yes, you read that right. I was going to afterwork but realized it had been over 60 days since I last took a day off and so I did today. I was so exhausted from skiing yesterday and then dog training class last night I wanted to sleep in this morning. Good choice, bad choice. Good in that my legs were so tired. Bad choice in that I was foggy for hours this morning and moved on slow motion. That's when it dawned on my that I was addicted to morning exercise. So tomorrow at 5:15 I'll be at it. I guess mid March I'll take another day off.
