S/C/G: SW:226/16st - about 50lbs lost

Height: 5'8"

Default Wednesday 2nd to Tues 8th clean eats challenge!

Today is going well so far... I bought some Maltesers but I haven't eaten them. I'm really full now, from a lunch of hummus, turkey and carrot sticks.

I can't decide what to have for dinner, I might make some turkey burgers. Now THEY are tastey

Ah here we are! I sorta got my act together a little better yesterday so I'm ready today. I've already been for a walk. Got home after 6:30 and it was pouring by 7:00! I've had a nice raspberry shake.

I've got to get my cals down a smidge. Carbs are creeping and protein then suffers. 1450 average with over 30% protein should be a good aim.
I'm struggling a bit with moving. I'd like to make a ticker but I'm not sure if I'll walk, jog or bike. I might just make one that's kilometres and do my own thing each day.

My goal this week is to keep cals up above 1300, but not over 1600. I seem to lose weight on a 1500 average. At least this past week I did. I need to get my carbs down and my proteins up too, SusanB.

Ick gah arhgh! I ate a bag of Maltesers. I was tired and tired and tired so I got some refined carbs to perk me up!

However - they are my only refined carbs of the day if I stick to the plan. They are my only non-veggie carbs too! I'm deciding to nap rather than go to the gym, then at least I can spend some quality time with DF rather than falling asleep on him!

Hello all. May I join in? I have eaten well for three days - no chocolate, chips or wine - and have consequently seen the results. No more fat belly, just a little one but hip bones are definately back. Having said that though, my bottom and thighs have always been larger and it was only when I started to have a pudgy belly that I thought I should really do something about it.

Looking forward to knowing you all during August.

Bah! I had this marvelous day planned out and all was going well ... then I got called to work 1450 isn't very many calories when I walk, do a bunch of housework and work. An 800 or 900 cal deficit is a bit much! So to start off my week .... I'm going over.
And I'm going to work tomorrow too. I'll pack carefully.

Bah too Susan! I ate those maltesers, and I had a great dinner, then I made myself a smoothie which was too thick to drink, so ended up having a bit more chocolate and a wheetabix biscuit. Naughty carbs!!!

Today, started off with weetabix (1), soya milk and a banana, still naughty carbs, but at least they were for breakfast!!! Reason I ate weetabix is I saw these new ones made with oats. I can't tell the difference, very dissapointed, so I won't be eating any more!

Rest of the day is planned out cleaner than a clean thing! Hummus and turkey and carrots and cucumber, then turkey stir fry for lunch with just veggies, then turkey burger for afternoon meal with roasted veggies. Not sure about during and post exercise, but I might treat myself to a Lucozade sport.

I might have something for dinner, depending on the fullness/mood whatever's in the fridge!

Goodie! I'm doing ok so far!

I'm really loving hummus - I want to write a hummus song, but I can't think of anything to rhyme with it!

Oh you! Now I'm going to be thinking all day about songs about hummus!

Do you know "Sherry" by JOurney? 'Oh hummus, you taste so good .....'

Never heard of it! I will have to google it!

Mine is going "Hummus hummus hummus, I love hummus, lovely lovely hummus, you taste good on carrots..." I think the last line lets it down.
