Sorry everyone, back up a bit. October is when I anticipate being pregnant. My husband and I are going to start trying in July, mostly because we hope to have our own home by then. And I hope to have gotten my weight down a bit more by then.

Crunchymama- That's great that you hope to start trying for a baby!! We're hoping to start trying for number two ASAP (no period back just yet though), and I'm also really really hoping to be back to fighting weight by the time that happens.

It's okay. I think people read pregnant and get excited. My sister-in-law can't wait for me to get pregnant and have it be a girl. She has everyone's lives kind of planned out.

So, what did everyone do this weekend? I went on a women's retreat with my church and it was awesome! Although I totally jumped on the diet thing- I didn't calorie count, but I did only have smaller portions.

It was an great time and I can't wait to go again.

I also brought a new friend to the forums! Skinnygirltrapped is someone I know IRL

Exciting to have new people!!!! I'm trying to recruit a fantastic woman I know, irl too!!!!

Been in a bit of a whiny mood lately... Hoping to buy a "new-to-me" car sometime soon so cash is a bit tight so haven't been prioritizing going grocery shopping. We're eating bottom of the barrel staples like rice and beans. Literally... I had broth last night (ranted about this in the weigh-in forum) and it's making me retain water like a sponge. I chose it, to be fair, but man does it always get me. Frustrating since broth is supposed to be a "free food" but for some reason even no/low sodium versions make me bloat something terrible.

OK. rant over. Thanks for letting me get it out, guys.

Hoping everyone's having a fantastic day!!!!

Anytime. I've been a little bit off myself. Not that I want to get into it, but I'm going through a change of philosophy, so it's somewhat of an upheaval. I'm the type that wonders about why things are the way they are, and I'm always digging, so this isn't particularly unusual. I'll get over it...eventually.

How's that going today, Skittles? Still the same, or, I hope, better?
