Crimzon--good that you're not letting it get you down. That is hard to do! At least for me.

I think I'm now safely back into the 140's. Been really struggling, very quickly went from the 130's to the 150's. However, I'm back into my intermittent fasting and feeling in control again.

Fluffy puppy: it took me about 2 years and a half to get down from 299 to 135 in Dec 2013. I had some thyroid issues last summer (and a beautiful 2 month vacation in Costa Rica with too much yummy food as well) that I believe contributed to me gaining about 10 pounds back. I weighed in at 140 this morning though, so maybe I'll be in the 30s sooner than I think

Kiss kiss-- you are gonna be back in the 130's before you know it. Amazing work. How is your thyroid issue now?

Tonimaroni--way to get back on the bus! You got this!

Mandy--welcome!

920 cals yesterday.
145.6 this morning up 0.2
665 cals so far today. Don't feel much like eating cuz I am really stressed. My aunt died, my dad is in the hospital and my dogs ate something they shouldn't have.

Ovulation time, stuck at 149.

I snacked a bit too much last night, and I have not been able to walk in a few days; I have been stuck indoors at my volunteer post. I am a membership Chair for a local Finnish Center, and we have most of our members renewing their memberships right now, plus election plus I am getting a directory done. I spent at the center for 4 days this week and they were long days. Sitting does not help either.

Looking forward to this weekend when I can actually take a few walks and breathe some fresh air.

Fluffypuppy - we have practically the same exact stats! I'm going to have you follow you around on this board now. I'm very sorry that you have so much going on that is causing stress. I am sorry for the loss of your aunt, your dad's illness and the puppies. Yeah, you definitely have a lot going on!

I used to be a very active member of this site a few years ago and when I reached my goal weight, I don't know what the heck happened!?! I just got too cocky I guess and next thing I knew, I gained almost all my weight back.

Got back on the wagon in May 2014 a little bit but really started dedicating myself in September.

Came in at 147.8 this morning. My progress is slow so this thread will be my home for a little while. But I'm ok with that.

Good luck everyone and have a healthy weekend!

Fluffypuppy:
Thank you . To be honest, I have no idea how my thyroid is doing I have a thryoid nodule in my throat that's bigger than normal, but my doctor told me I have no symptoms of hypo or hyper (ie too hot, too cold, extreme weight loss/gain in a short period of time, etc). He says it should be nothing to worry about for now, and to have it rechecked in a few months. I don't know, it seems like I'm just waiting for the nodule to get bigger before they do something about it

So sorry that you have had some family issues! Is your dad doing better? You have a lot going on, make sure you're getting rest!

Sum38:
Sorry that you're still stuck at 149 :/ . Maybe once the work load slows down a little you'll feel a little better, and you'll drop those pounds. Sitting all day has to be tough and stressful, so it's no wonder you snacked. How did you weekend go?

ShanIAm:
Slow progress is still Progress
I initially lost 30 pounds and regained 50 before losing the 160. It happens. Heck, right now I'm still 5 pounds above my original goal. Maintaining weight can be just as hard (if not harder) as losing weight. You'll get there again!

in good news, I weighed in at 140 AGAIN. I am sooooo excited to may be, possibly see 139 soon! How was everyone's weekend? I went to a superbowl party and was able to actually stay within my calorie limit AND i put in an awesome workout at the gym. I'm so motivated to see the 30s right now that I don't wanna mess up

Thank you, Kiss Kiss! And you are right, slow progress is still progress. I have to keep repeating that and adopt it as my new mantra. And yes, maintaining was so much harder than I ever, ever imagined. I hope that I learned from my past mistakes so when I do get to maintenance, I'll recognize the warning signs of regaining much quicker! Thanks for the encouragement!

ShanIAm - the same thing happened to me. I got to a point where I felt great about myself and then let it all go! Here's to lessons learned!

The good news is I'm down to 147.9 this morning. The bad news is its because I barely ate anything yesterday. Hubs and I had a huge fight and I just can't eat when I feel like laying in bed and crying.

I also quit taking my medication because I felt like it wasn't doing a single thing for me, and my appetite is now non-existent. BONUS.

Happy Chinese New Year! You guys are pretty quiet! Hope that means you're doing well.

I've been doing great, completely in control for the first time in a very long time. Not losing a lot of weight, but my body fat % is coming down and I'm feeling much more comfortable in my clothes. If you guys don't have a Fitbit and Aria scale, I HIGHLY recommend them!
