I weighed in at 130 exactly this morning! I'm a little nervous to get on the scales tomorrow morning in case today was a one off!

Eryn, the same thing happened to me this morning... After a couple days bouncing around 130.something, it was 130 even.
How awesome would it be to finally be out if the 130s tomorrow?! I have NEVER weighed 120-something in my adult life.
How is everyone doing with the holidays coming up?

I plan to be outta the 130s by Christmas! It's going to be hard because my family are all big eaters, but I'm going to avoid stuffing myself on Christmas dinner. Not doing any dessert, even if I am forced to take a slice of cake and throw it out when no one is looking.

I'm still 130, I'm hoping that I'll be down to 129 in the next couple of days. The holidays are definitely going to be tough, I LOVE Christmas food. I normally count calories and aim to eat quite healthily, I think I might keep up the calorie counting but give up on trying to be healthy for a few days (eg having a piece of christmas cake for breakfast instead of my usual porridge! Same calories just not quite as healthy...) it's not ideal but it's better than giving up all together.

Wow, there are quite a few of you who are sooo close to the 120s. Good luck to you!
I'm going to try to keep calorie counting over Christmas. Our Christmas is going to be spread over three days as my siblings will be with in-laws and step-kids will be with other parents and basically no one could all be here at the same time on the same day. So we're to have a revolving door. Unfortunately, it will also be a revolving door of sweets and goodies. I think my best bet is to keep calorie counting but perhaps raise my range a bit. If I allowed myself to indulge for one day I would have no idea how to pick that one day.
I held at 139 for 5 days but was 140 yesterday and 141 this morning. I'm not too worried about it. I'm blaming menstruation and putting it out of my mind.

Thistleberry - good attitude, sometimes I wish I could just put it out of my mind when I have those fluctuations too...
I haven't weighed in since Friday morning because I've been out of town on vacation. I've been eating and drinking anything I wanted to so I'm really nervous about my weigh in tomorrow morning.

Still in the 130s... 130.4 this morning.
[B]cabernetkitty ad Eryn, we're so close! My goal is also to be in the 120s by Christmas... Of course the festivities will probably bump me back up! My family is going to a Chinese buffet for Christmas Eve dinner, then we'll have a traditional Christmas feast the next day. I really want to enjoy myself while practicing moderation... We'll see how that goes!
tonimaroni, good luck with your WI tomorrow!
Thistleberry, it sounds like you have a great attitude about everything... Hopefully your pms weight gain will drop off soon!

So I weighed in this morning after 4 days off the diet wagon at 136.6, exactly what I was when I started my vacation. Can't complain about that!! Now to push onward and downward... How's it going with everyone else?

I think that's a great idea. Calories are just calories. I'm not saying it'd be healthy to live off of junk food as long as it's below a certain number of calories each day, but it's not going to hurt you short term. Eat what you want, just keep an eye on the calories.

Weighed in at 135 today, been bouncing around 135 for awhile. I'm hoping I can hit 129 by the end of the year (fingers crossed).

I was 135.4 this morning, sooo glad to be moving down again.
Polka- 6 lbs by the end of the year is totally do-able! Don't be disapointed if youe Holidays throw you for a loop though. I know mine will. :S

I broke into the 120s yesterday! 129.4. BUT I've had two terrible (seriously, horrible, no-good, very bad) eating days and would guess that I am probably back into the 130s by now. Haha. I'll get on the scale and assess the damage tomorrow.

Tonimaroni - Yay for the scale moving in the right direction.
Good for you, OhThePlaces! Even if you bounce up a little bit you'll have hit your 120s by Christmas goal.
I'm finally back to 139! My cycle has been throwing me for a loop the last two months. I track my weightloss according to it and it seems that every 7 or 8 months whatever pattern was established stops and switches to a new one which lasts about as long. It's so strange.
Been trying to eat far fewer calories the last few days in anticipation of higher come Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. It's been going okay so far but man will I be happy when life settles back into the normal routine. On the flipside, I've really been struggling with exercise. Between work, evil period cramping, and the Snowpolcalypse I haven't done anything this week. Today I'm working from home (if IT ever replies to the issue I submitted!) and I'm really hoping to get over to the gym before lunch to run.
