It wasn't what I was or wasn't eating. I decided to try intermittent fasting about 4 weeks ago. That was when my weight stopped dropping. 3 days ago I decided that I needed my breakfast and I saw a loss today. I know many people love IF but evidently it wasnt for me.
Thanks Ryler! Its so interesting that some diets work for some people and not others. I was the same way with weight watchers. I tried it for three months and it did nothing for me. Best of luck to you, I hope you reach goal soon!

I am posting here because I have been stuck at 132 for a week now and I want SO VERY BADLY to be in this thread. So I figured if I post here in advance, it will magically give me the whoosh I need and I will legitimately belong here by later in the week.

So, hello! Nice to see y'all here.

I know what you mean. You see that light at the end of the tunnel but it seems far out of reach. Just continue doing what you're doing and you'll be in the 120's in no time. I've been in the 120's since August. It's frustrating but we have to keep fighting.

Hello ladies,

I'm a new poster. Currently at 125, but hoping to get back down to 115 by the end of the month. That might be a little ambitious, but we'll see. Ultimately I'd like to get down to 108-113. I really liked myself at 113 (below that I wasn't feeling very healthy).

Ok, I'm officially in the 120's and have been for about a month! I can't wait to mosey on out of these, hopefully without it taking too long!

Wooohoo! Stepped on the scale and I'm down to 124 (and it's my most special time of the month). I can't wait to get below 120. Hopefully by the end of next week!

well i was 121.3lb this morning. I seem to have whizzed through the 120's so fast and i really don't know how or why! I've been posting on the 130's until a few days ago as i haven't really had time to adjust to the fact i'm in the 120's and now i'm at the bottom end of 120's! I've definitely cut back my food a lot, and am eating much healthier and have been pretty consistent . I suppose i'm just surprised that when you do this it ACTUALLY WORKS!!!!

I am so proud of you ange. You did go through the 120's fairly fast. I was here since August and I'm still here. Any tips you can share?

thanks Ryler. Compared to my previous attempts i've been eating lower carbs and more protein. I've been fairly consistent i.e. not really changed my habits at weekends, which traditionally for me was a time when i'd slacken off a bit. And i've changed my exercise recently to do some longer sessions of lower intensity stuff (trekking, cycling) rather than shorter higher intensity which i guess has helped to burn a few calories. Most of all though i've just been lucky in that i've been in the right head space and i've not craved naughty stuff and not been hungry, but in all honesty i couldn't tell you why. I'll take it though!!

Hey everybody!
Super excited to be posting in here!
I've been floating around 128-131 for a while, but I've battened down the hatches and this morning weighted in at 126!
Here's a toast to the 120's!

131 today. I expect to be legitimately in this thread in a week... Of course, I said that last week, but I have been stuck lately.

I started doing a little JUDDD experiment to see if I can revive my metabolism and get out of starvation mode, and it seems to be working.

So, lets cross our fingers for 129 by this Friday!

I was bad yesterday. Alcohol, pizza, cupcakes, etc and fortunately didn't gain any weight but also didn't lose any so it is another day at 124. Really hoping to be under 120 soon. There is no visible weight difference on me between 129 and 119.

121 again for me, but still not moving my ticker since i already moved it a couple of lb this week and still don't really believe it, although it's the third day i've seen it.

Good to see so many around in the 120's club!!

Wishing you all a great on-plan week ahead.

Hi, I'm new here! Today I weighed in at 126 and feel so good about it!!!!

Sorry if this isn't the place to ask... How many calories are you eating and how much exercise are you doing? I set myself at 1200 calories and exercise 3x per week (walking quickly for 30 minutes plus lifting weights). It was great for the first few weeks, but lately I have been feeling so tired, falling asleep way before my usual bedtime and sleeping in more. I've taken up drinking tea and coffee to help me with my energy levels. Not a lot, a cup of coffee does the trick but before my diet I had cut out caffeine entirely. It works, but I'm wondering if that is unhealthy. Should I up my calories instead?

Hi calendula, sorry to hear you've been so tired, i don't know why you would be.

Are you feeling hungry? If so, then yes, i'd say up your calories.

If not, maybe your iron levels are low or something (i don't know much about this sort of thing, so others might be more qualified to comment further...)

And how much sleep are you feeling to need at the moment? Maybe you're just needing what's normal anyway? I wouldn't see it as too much of a problem unless you're also tired during the day?

I don't know how many calories i eat (i would be really interested to know, but just can't be bothered to start finding out and adding it up!!!), but my average exercise for the year (cycling, running, aerobics classes etc but not including walking) is 48min a day, and averaging 5-6 days per week i'd guess.

If anything then, i'd increase your exercise, as it seems counter-intuitive, but more exercise gives you more energy (within sensible limits of course!)

Love my sleep though and normally go to sleep by 10pm and awake just before 6am.

120.0 lb for me on the scale this morning - i'll be looking for a new thread soon!!?!!??
