I haven't been here either for the same reason, nothing exciting to report. The same 137 to 138 weight. I'm struggling but nothing dramatic. Mostly staying the same even though I think I should be losing. Maybe it will show up soon. I am thinking I might go on another "sugar" fast before Christmas like I did before Thanksgiving. I lost 4 pounds but immediately put 3 pounds back on after T-day and appear to have kept it on. I might bake some cookies and eat a few before the fast.

Eh, I certainly haven't lived up to my "last push in December" aspirations. My weight is holding at 136.6 lbs - which recently I was thrilled about! But now it just bums me out because it is up from where I was a couple of weeks ago. My ticker is now off by more than a pound. I think I am not feeling good about it because I purged my closet of my bigger clothes, which are hanging off me. But the smaller sizes squish me into rolls and bulges.

Oh well.

Lose25 - wow, way to pull it back together! It took me about a year to lose that much (oh but I can gain that much in a couple of weeks!)

TERAPET - I had considered the idea of a sugar fast as well! Especially when I am hanging out for a couple of weeks with family surrounded by cookies and other goodies. Thanks for the reminder.

Eh, the scale said 139.6 this morning, and I've been on plan for four days with no major deviations since a week ago Friday. Ugh, ugh, ugh!

Hang in there Pageta. Hopefully a few more days On Plan will make the difference.

I decided not to make those cookies yesterday. I figured it is still two weeks until Christmas and I would just end up adding another week of temptation when I already know I will be eating over my calorie limit the closer it gets to Christmas. I guess I better start my sugar fast today.

Emma thank you but i really think it was A LOT Of water weight. I am also frusterated like everyone else. Stil at 136 lbs after days and days of been on perfect plan.

Terapet good idea on the sugar fast i might do that as well but god i really think that would be really hard. I have cut out all carbs and couldnt care less for them. But the sugary stuff calls my name every single day.

Pageta hang in there i know how you feel. Just keep going and hopefully youll see a loss today.

My original goal when i started was 120lbs which would of mean 15lbs this month. BUT yeah right. Ill be happy if i lose 8 lbs this month or just get below 130 lbs. Okay everyone we can do this we have two weeks til christmas and thats not so bad plus another 6 days til new years. So this month isnt over yet. Good luck everyone

Hi all, hoping to join in! I too am stuck in the 130s, for months now - right now around 136, 138/9 this morning due to water retention. Even though i was on plan this wknd eating wise, i did two long runs (about 17 miles total) and am thinking its my muscles holding on to water, plus i ate a lot of high fiber, bloating foods - big salads, beans, apples, etc. I was hoping to see below 135 before the wknd, here's hoping for a nice big whoosh!

Anyway, glad to find a place where I can check in with those who can recognize my pain!!

All of you can do it!

I'm so excited. My scale this morning said 129.6lbs. I had to hop on it again to make sure I didn't need to get my eyes checked! (At first, I thought it said 139.6, and that nearly made me have a heart attack, LOL.)

So I guess I get to say tootles to the 130s club! If I can get out of here, you can too!

alexandraT - 17 miles!?! That's so impressive. I'm sure your 136 lbs looks way different than my 136 lbs.

Wild Vulpix - congrats!

Wild Vulpix

I did not start my sugar fast yet. I am going back and forth on it. There is just too much going on and I need my little crutches. I allow myself a pudding cup or biscotti since they don't seem to trigger over indulgence but satisfy my sweet tooth. This just has not been a very productive month for weight loss.

Congrats, Wild Vulpix!!

17 miles is awesome, alexandraT! Is running your main form of exercise? It used to be mine before it got all cold and snowy here. Now I use the bike here at home.

Ciao, you've been doing really good! Are you from Italy originally or studying there for the term?

I hit 130 even today. Maybe when I wake up in the morning it will be lower, although I'm not sure. I have to get up earlier than usual, and sometimes when I don't get enough sleep, the number doesn't fall like I'd like.
Can't wait to break into the 120s... I'm so close!

I've been at 131 for several days now, but I'm getting scale fear! LOL I used to weigh myself every morning at about the same time, but for the past few days, I've just been absolutely paranoid about checking my weight! So silly, I know, but I think it's this psychological block. When I first got below 133, I started feeling like I was getting insanely close to my goal weight, and now I'm only 2 lbs. from the 120s... I'm getting really scared of failure, even though the past four days or so I've been really good with food and exercise.

Hold my hand through tomorrow's weigh in! I really have to get back on the scale and check in!

After weighing 139.8 yesterday, I finally saw a change today: 136.8. I think there was some water retention in there. I was sure the scale was going to go into the 140s so I'm very relieved. Tomorrow may be up again, but probably not as high as yesterday. Relief, relief.

Yes! 129.6! I'm inclined to believe that it's "real", as my weight kept cycling in between 130-132 for a while now, and I feel smaller. So stoked, and can hardly believe I'm getting so close to my goal!

Thanks for the welcome guys!

For EmmaD and Fivestone - thanks for your kind words guys! 17 miles is usually a bit much for me on the weekends.. I'm HOPING that's why the scale has been up these past two days. It is pretty much my main form of exercise. I have never, ever been a runner in my life, but have always been jealous of those who could just get up and go for a 5 mile run on a weekend or even just a jog. I could barely run for more than a minute straight at a 12:00 mile when I started, and I just did my first half marathon about a month ago at a 9:45 minute pace. I used to be big on spin class but I think I got burnt out, plus I like easy way of trackign your progess with running (faster runs, longer runs, etc.). I found that hard to do with spin class. And nothing beats a long Saturday run around the DC monuments

And congrats FiveStone on your weight today!! I would love to see the scale go below 130.. but you have given me hope!

And EmmaD - i'm sure your 136 looks just as awesome as mine!
