stella - Thank you so much!

So i have some bad news. I am still really ill. It went from head cold, to flu, to crazy cough and pressure, to sinus infection and all along i have had a fever and bathroom issues (if you know what i mean). I am still dizzy and it is hard to walk. I went to work this morning for an hour, got so dizzy i fell into the wall, then had to come home. This sucks. I hate being so ill. I can hardly speak and my hearing is gone in one ear. i put on real clothes for the fist time in a few days and everything was just hanging on me. even my boots were loose around my calf. this is not the way i want to lose weight! I really just want to be normal again.

sorry for the rant, i just feel really lonely and bad.

I hope you all have a better day than me! good luck!

Maenad, have you been to the doctor? Sounds like you could need some help getting over this.

Gemma, it's not my TOM, but it's not quite two weeks after which is usually when I bloat unfortunately! I don't seem to gain weight at all right around the time (maybe a pound or two for a day). I think today's gonna be a good day--I'll post back after I have my workout and get my official weigh-in! I know I won't have much of a loss this week, but hopefully that means next week I'll have a nice one!

stella - I went to the doctor a few days ago. I am on meds, and he said it was just a really bad flu. On the positive side i am feeling a little better this morning. Better than yesterday morning at least! I still took the morning off, but i feel confident i can go back to tomorrow.

Hi guys; I feel weird jumping into the thread at page 4, but it looks like I'll have to adjust my goals! I was hoping to be 125 by May, but I'm losing a steady pound a month so that'll have to be pushed back, and July 4th is such a happy goal day

My goals:
-walk/jog 2-3 miles at least 5 days of the week
-1600 calorie average
-126 pounds by the end of April!

ok I've been lurking in here, but it's time. I'm going to officially join. I need to lose this weight, pronto! 4th of july seems so far away, but i'm taking a 10 day vacation in May, so that draws it much closer... july 4th is about 14 weeks away, and i'm aiming to lose 23 pounds in that time. my weight loss is at a rate of 1-1.5 lbs a week so it will be a stretch.

I'm doing the may day challenge, and I will re-asses once that is over!

I'm another late joiner, but I would LOVE to be at goal by the 4th of July, so this is perfect motivation to make it happen!

I hate to even post my CW, it's just drifted upward since January...so let's just post my goal.

GW range: 125-129 lbs

This is where I want to maintain and I know it'll be quite amazing for me to get there in 13 1/2 weeks, but that's why it's called a challenge, right?

I'm at 127 this morning and hope to be maintaining by July.

But after vacation and many summer cookouts who knows.

I am going to go measure this morning and start paying attention to those numbers.

Hello! I weighed myself this morning and I lost a pound!!! Woohoo! I know it's silly to get excited over one pound but since I'm so short it's more like 3 lbs. I don't feel so puffy in my clothes now. I'll be back to those size 8s eventually!

Kamesennin - I celebrate half pounds. A whole pound really gets a cheer.

1.4 lbs down this week, wooooo . It's stayed steady for a few days too so I'm not worried about an inaccurate reading. Haven't got much time to update but I hope you're all doing amazing!

nice to see so many more new people!

So, i am feeling better, but not 100%. I have a guest in town this week, and i am hoping to get back into my work out routin by the time he leaves. That gives me a week to feel 100% before i get back down to business!

I have been very busy between work and planning a wedding, so i really haven't had much time to update or do anything. I have done alright with food, haven't gained, haven't lost.

OK, I'm a late joiner myself, but I think that I can do this.
Goal weight by 7/4-125 pounds
Exercise-lift three days a week, cardio four days a week, bike to work at least twice a week

Califiona - Welcome! 125 sounds like a doable goal!

SO i thought i was slightly over eating, but somehow i have lost weight. 120!!! I can't wait to start running again and see the teens! Haven't seen them in years! Not going to change my ticker or anything in case it was a trick!

I'm down to 137.4 this morning only 10 pounds 'til I'm in my projected maintenance range!

maenad-Wow! That's a LOW goal. You must be very small framed. No such luck here. (I have average/medium bone structure.) Isn't it amazing how we all wear it differently?! Congrats on the loss!! That's exciting especially when it wasn't expected! Maybe your body needed a little something more lately. I hope all is going well with wedding planning and recovering from illness. That's a lot to manage at once!

Maened: Wow, you are doing great. I agree with you, running always seems to take the weight off of me. Something that I am learning is that sometimes adding more calories into your diet will trigger your body to let go some of it's fat storage.
Ms. Perception: Yeah!!! You are so close to your goal. You have made amazing progress so far and you'll get there shortly. What is your excercise regime right now?
