Hey everyone, I've been MIA as I've been visiting family in Ohio since Wednesday - just got home yesterday. I ate horribly and didn't exercise at all but somehow I managed to not do much damage - not even a whole pound gained. I've also had a few people tell me that I look like I've lost weight, so that was cool. Yesterday and today were hectic so I plan to get back into the exercise routine tomorrow. I did eat well today!

Good morning!
A walk seems like a wonderful idea. Here's hoping the purolator guy comes soon and then I can walk before I have to go to work. Nice fall weather, ya know?

Yup, the walk was a wonderful idea!
I've almost maxed out my exercise ticker for September!!!! I'll admit that I set my expectations low but ... it still feels good. I'll add time on in accordance with how much is left of the month.
Is anyone else going to do one for October?

Susan, an exercise ticker is a great idea! I am planning to add one on for October! It will certainly help keep me on track to lose the weight I need before heading to the beach on November 4th! YIKES!
Another motivator for me is this - I purchased two bikini's on-line and then I printed out the pictures of the models wearing those suits AND pictures of me in the same suits... so when I don't feel like working out, i just look at those pictures and think "I SOOO want to look like the model for vacation!" and that gives me just enough will power to do my workouts. I'm realistic - I know that without an airbrusher following me around I won't be able to look quite as good, but any where close would be awesome! The pictures are a great reminder of where I am and where I want to be.

Hi everyone!
You may not remember me. I posted a while back. Anyway, I finally feel like I belong here!
Exercise has not been good. Eating has been icky. I mean, it's not been junk food per se, but it's just too much. I've gotta get back on track so I can finally lose these last 10 lbs.!

AR4life -- that wine tour sounds fantastic! I've always wanted to do one of those.
CakeBatter -- congrats on the 50 lb loss! Excellent!
Leksmisprasanth -- keep at it! walking/jogging will really help
ShrinkingAmy -- love your motivation tool with the pictures. I would be afraid to take a picture of myself in a bikini LOL!
SusanB -- congrats on the exercise!
MrsLovett -- welcome back!
Hi to Doughnut, Ilene, everyone else!
I've been really bad about exercise this week after some job related stress, but I finally back on track. Plus after losing 7 lbs I feel so much better and look so much better it's made me a bit lazy. But I still have a spare tire around my waist and really want it gone, so need to keep going!

MrsLovett, welcome back ! Those last few pounds are soooo hard. I almost gave up and settled where I was until someone issued a 5 pound challenge. That spurred me on and I lost that 5 and a few more. I am so glad I didn't stop before making goal.

I think that jayjay has hit upon THE progress problem for featherweights in saying this ...
Plus after losing 7 lbs I feel so much better and look so much better it's made me a bit lazy
Don't you agree?
Ashlan ... you count any old way you'd like. As long as we are all reminded that we must move!

Hello everyone. I am new to your thread. I just joined the forum 2 days ago and I am greatful to be here.
Today I finally took my first yoga class in almost 3 years. It really helped with my back pain/headache. Makes me wonder why I stopped going in the first place.
My problem for the day is that I am hungry all day, no matter what I eat. It is just one of those days!!! Even though I have been hugry all day I have eaten pretty well.
Time to go convince my 2 year old he cannot eat paperclips nor put a candle lighter in his ear and talk to it like it is a phone...lol
