Default leap day is this week

Hi,

I am tweaking up the exercise this week too - hope to be able to buy a different size for spring and summer clothes.

Where did you find a scale that calculates body fat?

Up and down - I can't tell actual weight gain vs. a bit of water weight change - so I am hoping to be on target by Wednesday.

I'm not sure I'm quite brave enough to take pictures in the bikini --the camera adds 5 lbs, you know! But I'll see if I can't come up with some pictures from the vacation. I keep meaning to post before and after pics but somehow I never get around to it.

Dagmar: You can get nutritional information for just about all fast food restaurants from their websites. And, at least here in CA, they are required to have it available in the restaurant, you just have to ask for it.

I've been wondering the same thing. It can feel like a full-time job for me to get below 125. And, same as you, I've got almost a double-full-time job already! If I 'let myself go' with all the work-related travel, dinners, parties, happy hours, maybe I could stay around 135. Sometimes I think I should just accept that... but then I've got all these darn little clothes that I want to fit into!

Help me get re-motivated, ladies!

I'm going to do a six week crack down. Anybody in?

I have a half plan in mind. Is it worth a thread?

I may be in - have to see how painful you're going to make this SusanB. It's definitely worth a thread.

I was also hoping you would come up with another "do something silly" thread. I think most of us in northern climes are in the middle of the winter blahs and could use something light-hearted.

Painful? Moi? ... no no no ... we'd probably set our own strategies. I just need to get back into good habits.

A fun thread? Hmmm ... let me think ...

Thumbs up Winter blahs cure

I keep forgetting how much I like to sing and dance (in the privacy of my own home as I need a wheelbarrow to carry a tune).

DH and I don't have many common musical tastes so I can only really let loose when he's at school or out with the boy (he only has one drinking buddy ).

Just spent 20 minutes with Michael McDonald's Motown album and am now preparing to rock out with the Gipsy Kings. Great cardio and now I feel all energized for the Biggest Loser.

Dagmar (crazy banana - I LIKE IT!)

ok - now you have me thinking. How often should you change the battery in a digital scale?

I don't think I'm going to make my Feb goal. It should not have been challenging so I am disappointed. I got off track and figured that I had time to get it back. But now I am in bed with a cold. No exercising, two pounds from goal, and I really have the munchies. I guess my body is trying to live by the old adage "feed a cold - strave a fever". This stinks!

Blueyes? you'll have to wait until you've been here 30 days or something like that. But then it's easy. You just need to go to your user CP ... we'll help you.

Mornin' folks!

Speaking of chatty ... I was going to try to post something profound for my 10,000th post yesterday, when suddenly, I was at about 10015 ... so nothing profound. Just chatter.

Be well today my friends.
