Ummm~I have been told I am an hourglass shape since I started losing .
But I am not sure.I know I am not a pear And always thought apple didn't quite go with me either.
Maybe you can start a thread and have people place photos so we can guess? Or see? Or decide? If you do let me know!!!!!!
I would be interested in knowing & would post a full body photo to see.
I'm rather invertedly triangular in shape. An upside-down pear, if you will. I have big boobs and way too much backfat. My shoulders aren't hugely broad but they're a bit wider than my hips. My upper arms are chubby. My butt is totally flat.
Pear shape, for sure - don't have the slightest idea where the hips came from, but they're way curvier than anyone else's in my family, lol!
Don't mind it too much - I like my curvy hips. Need to work on the thighs a bit though, and wish there was something I could do to make my "upper curves" match my lower ones a little better, if you know what I mean.
inverted triangle. Even when I am thin my upper body is 2 sizes bigger than my bottom. Added to that is a short upper body so I have to dress very carefully.
I guess I am an "H" , just straight! I am 5'3" and measures 34, 26.5, 35.
I love swimming and have a swimmer kind of body, my shoulders are even slightly wider than my hips. I can fit into a pair of size 2 skinny Jeans but my top is usually a size 4.
When I gain weight, my waist and my face show first, then my upper arms, my thighs seem to be the last.
I have short arms, and they look thick, my worst part, the next worst is my waistline, I just don't have the tiny waist partly because my narrow hips.
I'm an hourglass. round hips, huge boobs ... but I have a small waist, and my tummy stays pretty flat. I guess I should be glad for that.
I HATE my boobs though-- 34DD. HATE them. I'm only 5'3", size 6, and I feel like my boobs totally make me look heavier--even though I have hips to balance them out. I feel like 34DD boobs at 5'3" is pretty ridiculous! Often I feel like guys are just staring at my chest...

/ That is because they are. I know exactly what you mean, I'm also only 5'3", 139 lbs and a not so small 32G! I tend to wear roomy Tshirts and only end up looking heavy or pregnant!
Ah-- it is so so hard to dress when you're short and busty! I feel like if I wear tight shirts, people assume i am trying to be sexy, but all roomy t-shirts/sweatshirts (and all those flowey tops that are in style) just make me look heavier!!!! I guess we have an advantage when we're going to the beach and filling out a bikini, but dressing for every day life is hard!

The worst of both worlds? Pear butt and apple belly!!
Always solidly a pear. Totally small on top. Even when <120#, I had quite the butt (didn't appreciate it at the time, but probably it looked pretty good!!). But used to drive me crazy that my bust wasn't as big as my butt ...
The best part was that I always, always had a flat belly. Until a few years ago when it expanded alarmingly. I went for a massage and the therapist thought I was pregnant
I don't have that much weight to lose, but I am somewhat mis-shapen. Just starting to get back on track with a long-term plan. I hope I will appreciate the pear shape this time if/when I get it back
Have any of you gone through the measurements at myshape.com? Someone recommended it to me to find jeans that actually fit. I came out an "A" there...
mystery fruit??!! lol!
i'm an apple trying to be an hourglass.
and i feel you ladies on the big boobs. i'm just shy of 5'4" and have been a solid D since 9th grade. i'm presently retreating from a 36DD/E and am now a 34/36 D/DD. it's absurd. i'm hoping to get back to a 34D when i'm at goal. i think trying for a C might be deluding myself. the clothing issue is such a problem. i even have trouble with bikinis. i feel like those really cute triangular string bikinis, like many clothes, look much better on someone with more modest breasticles.
