This is absolutely what I would have written but I also hate pineapple (devil's food IMHO), cream (yay) cheesecake (yay) and trifle. Trifle is just so unnecessary as are any jelly products. Oh yeah, jelly beans - they are so disgusting.

A small portion of the kist would be peppers, olives, sushi, jello, grits, eggs that are undercooked, most vegetables...it's a texture thing for me.

haha, i actually like poutine. it's the only way i'll eat french fries. i can't eat them plain, with ketchup. but i'm not a huge fan of french fries though.

i've always hated soda, cake, cookies, muffins, scones, waffles/pancakes, and super sweet coffee drinks. and i still do. that's how i stayed so skinny! too bad all that bread and cheese did me in when i was in spain.

i'm a total sushi and sashimi girl. it's so healthy, i never feel guilty when i eat it!

I love poutine! I get it whenever I go to Canada.

what grosses me out:
-Reese's Pieces, or anything that combines peanut butter with chocolate or fudge
-donuts with a jelly filling
-pecans, walnuts, almonds.....most nuts

dh.

He introduced me to egg ON pancake.

Pancake, put your syrup on (butter optional) take egg cooked over easy, place gently on pancake, slip fork underneath and break yolk so that the yolk mixes WITH the syrup and soaks into the pancake. It looks awful, but tastes FAAAABULous.

This is also the only way dd will eat either food. Except she wont try syrup. Just egg on pancake.
Thats so good. My mom always ate it and I thought it was gross but one day she convinced me to try it. It looks absolutely horrible but its soo good. Now I really want some pancakes and eggs, but I'm trying to stay away from carbs....and sugar.

The most normal food that totally grosses me out is mustard. I've hated it all my life, even the remotest smell of it used to make me feel really nauseated. Even now, I keep my distance, especially from the bright yellow stuff. Argh.

Particularly dislike ketchup and pickles too. You can just imagine my reaction to my first McDonald's hamburger when I was an unsuspecting kid. (But put lettuce, tomato, onions, cheese, on it and watch out...)

Wish I could develop a distaste for ice cream and Doritos.

I think I must have missed it, because I didn't see anyone mention mayo! Easily the most disgusting condiment I've ever seen. If I ever forgot to order my sandwich/burger without mayo, I couldn't eat it until I used something - a napkin, fry, utensil, whatever - to scrape off every bit of it I can. I don't know WHY anyone would like it, it has the taste and consistency of congealed fat.

Say no to blubber on your food.

Oddly enough, if it's flavored (well enough) or mixed heavily with other sauces/dressings, I don't mind it.

The only other things I dislike that're fairly common are a) cake frosting/filling (any non-bready part) and b) most pie fillings (the crusts are divine, haha).

Contrary to all the diet soda lovers out there, I hate anything with artificial sweeteners in it...I'd rather just not drink pop (Usually I only drink water) Eating too many things with gives me really terrible headaches.

I LOVE sushi...It used to really gross me out, but then I tried it, and yum!!! Now that said...I don't like most kinds of cooked fish! (I do like Tuna out of a can though).

I also don't like mayo, except when its mixed in certain things.

Something else very popular that grosses me out is alcohol, especially beer. I've tried different beers, wines, hard lemonade etc. and I never enjoyed them. I can deal with a really sweet mixed drink, though.

Something else that is VERY popular that I forgot to put on my list of things I don't like is outdoor-grilled-over charcoal food. To me it tastes burnt and smoky and like charcoal. And sometimes - even worse - like lighter fluid.
Those people can keep their attractive grill marks; I'll cook in a pan on the stove!

Really makes me gag:
*Fish, seafood ... especially crabs, lobster, squid, oysters. ugh.
*Eggs eaten as a food
*Mayo
*Pasta salad made with mayo. ewww. Potato salad.
*Jello --- goo from bones flavoured like cherry? No thanks.
*Poutine (I know, I am not a good canadian).
*Haggis, sausages, Spam
*Cottage cheese

What previously seemed very gross but turned out to be divine: Cheesecake.
