Chinese food yesterday, lots of it. And some other stuff

Yeah I saw the dancing broccoli and some other new ones but some of my favourites seem to have gone.

Went to Famous Dave's with my parents when I got home the other night. Although we all 3 of us split a sampler, so I really only had 2 buffalo wings, a chicken strip and a corn muffin, I knew I should have said "no" when I said "yes" to eating out. That's what bugs me the most.

Had mexican food 2x this weekend...lots of cheese dip. 3 cookies Sunday night. Bought an ice cream ball off ebay (you add ingredients like cream, sugar, vanilla, etc) play with the ball for 20 minutes and it makes homemade ice cream....used heavy whipping cream in it (pretty yummy though). Back up 1 lb.

I had such a bad day yesterday. I felt really depressed and I ate everything in sight (including an entire pint of Ben and Jerry's New York Super Fudge Chunk ice cream). Today will be a perfect eating day, and I will push myself extra-hard at the gym.

Ariel. It sounds like you've got so much stress going on! The reason you're not feeling full is b/c you're trying to feed your stress - food can't fill up a feeling or push down a feeling. Inevitably you just need a whole lot more food and it winds up working against you. Hang in there!!! We're here for you, really.

My confessions:

some brie/cranberry en croute last friday
3 glasses of wine
1 cosmo
1 veggie burrito with chips.

It's been a horrible eating weekend, but this week is a new beginning. I was trying to stuff down grief yesterday( a dear family friend passed away). Obviously it didn't work, but I was in such shock for about six hours, it didn't seem real and I just kept putting food into my mouth. YUCK.

Today is a new day - and the beginnig of April. Time for a five pound loss for me this month!!

Another cashew incident today. They tasted really good while I was eating them, but now I feel icky. I've thrown out the rest of the bag, so there won't be anymore. From now on, when a recipe calls for cashews, I will be buying them in very small amounts.

Hi, I'm new here. (My story is posted in that "tell your story" sticky thread.)

I've been on an extended stay in carb land, and it's been rough getting myself to leave. I've been giving in too much to snacking, particularly my snack-of-choice (which I won't mention so that others will not get as hungry as I am just thinking of it).

Well, since my boss got his fancy new espresso machine with steam wand, I've been drinking 2-3 tea mistos a day -- tea, 1% milk, Splenda. Not HORRIBLE, but it is an extra 300 calories that I can ill afford.

I've been allowing myself too many goodies that are technically on plan (South Beach). Need to start watching my veggies and that 75 calories from sugar alcohols thing.

Oh Doughnut! Just reading your screen name makes me hungry! I've been so good this week, but there is a yummy, glazed doughnut in my kitchen right now.....I'm not confessing yet, but if my skinny little 98 lb daughter doesn't eat it soon (she requested that I buy some yesterday).....I'll be back to confess later!

I made rice crispy, peanut butter, chocolate treats for a dinner party last night.

scraped the rice crispy pot for extras, licked a few spoons, then ate 2 of them to "test them". Continued with a big scoop of ferrero rocher gelato, a handful of caramel popcorn, 3 frozen graped, I also ate about 10 mini eggs earlier in the day.

Yikes.. its worse when you write it all down but it had to be done.
Today is a new day. I'm bringing the treats to the dinner party and not having any!
