Hi, I am in Day 3 of detox and I have been searching all over the place to find out if nuts and/or seeds are acceptable during detox and if not, when I can incorporate them (I'm a peanut, sunflower seed, pistachio junkie). It mentions nothing about them. Also, is vegan cheese ok during detox? It's a soy-based product.... Thanks!
Hi, I have The Fat Smash Book here and both 'nuts' and 'cheese' are listed under the Foods Not Allowed in Phase 1... I don't see 'seeds' on the list. I can't speak to the vegan or soy issue... I do know that there was another book Extreme Fat Smashing... ?? difference... good luck ! I start 'smashing' tomorrow...
Ok... I'm confused now, I was just reading more of this book and on page 20 under Ian's Tip #3 "Eat foods high in fiber"... tip says "sources of fiber include fruits, veggies, seeds and nuts........ huh ??? Now I'm not sure at all...

I have the book and phase one IMO is very very clear Its tells you in detail what you can and cannot have. Phase one is strickly detox it says nothing about have nuts in phase one. I am looking at the book right now. Hope this helps

Oh, I agree that the phase 1 'lists' are very clear, but the phase 1 Tips contradict the lists... guess I'll stick to just the lists...
