Default Day 9 - FS

I decided to weigh myself this morning. I'm down 3.5 pounds. Yay.
But I cheated twice. Last Thursday night, I had a whole wheat bun and a slice of cheese with my Boca Burger. On the 4th, I had a grilled chicken breast for dinner. It's weird to think of whole wheat buns and boneless, skinless chicken breast as cheating.

I like the principal of this diet but found it a little tougher than SBD. I'm thinking I'll combine the two and work something out that I can live with.

Thanks for introducing me to this WOE.

Congrats! Phase one was hard to me at first BUT once I got through the first two days I was ok as long as I basically planned what I was going to eat. Phase two is much easier but IMO phase one is what got me to where I am today because I just feel that it was def mind over matter and once I finished phase one I didnt really desire junk foods and fatty and or fried foods I guess my taste buds changed a bit.

With this diet you just have to realize that phase one isnt the whole diet its mainly for detoxing the body to prepare you for the other phases. I am thinking about going back to phase one within the next week we will see what happens....LOL

It wasn't so much that it was hard for me to do the diet. I believe in mind over matter so the actual diet in Phase 1 wasn't so bad. I just had some concerns since I couldn't strength train. Also, I work out almost daily so the food really wasn't enough to support my workouts. You can only eat so many vegetables and fruit. Truth is, I am not a big fruit fan but I eat it when necessary.

I completely understand because I am not much of a fruit or veggies person myself but for nine days I was able to do it and stick to it. I just found some inner strength and I finally sat myself down and had a talk with me. Did I like the detoxing phase NO! BUT I did it because I want to lose weight and it worked for those nine days. Now if I had to eat just those foods from phase one for a few weeks or more maybe I wouldnt have stuck with it but IMO nine days isnt really that long and once you do phase one everything else is pretty easy because you can add in meats and a few other things.

I like you workout daily but that is why I chose to bring my foods with me. That made it so so much more easier. When I got hungry I would just pull out some veggies or fruits and eat them I dont like veggies that much but when that is all I had to eat I ate it so that is how I made the plan work for me! Good Luck

Congrats on losing 3.5lb! I am on day 5 of detox and can't wait to do my first weight in. I hope I will have good news to post. If nothing else, I definitely feel better without eating all of that junk food. Other than having migraines for the first two days - the rest has been a breeze. I love eating fruits and veggies, especially this time of year when there are so many to chose from.

Keep up the good work!
