Default Day 1 and a few questions...

I am starting day 1 of phase 1 today. I had oatmeal for breaksfast, banana for snack and the day will be filled with veggies, soup and fruit!

Questions about Phase 1:
1) Can you have sugarless gum?
2) Can I used an unlimited amount of Splenda during this phase?

Thanks!

I guess I should have skimmed through the FAQ section...I found the answer to my questions.

Thanks!

Matilda, did you drink coffee and still lose weight during detox?

Welcome back Diva. You can have sugarless gum but only a tsp of sugar substitute daily.

WOW...12 pounds on detox...I wish. I will be happy to lose 5 or 6 pounds.
I am not a big coffee drinker but I really needed some caffiene this morning. I have been drinking water but I really miss my Hawaiian Punch sugar free singles. Yesterday was actually pretty easy for the first day...the 4th and 5th day will probably be most difficult!

Good luck and thanks for the info.

Diva: I usually enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning but I gave it up for smashing. It really wasn't that hard because right now it is soooo hot coffee just doesn't have it's usual appeal. However, I did need something besides water and we are allowed a couple of cups of herbal tea (ice tea of course) sweetened with a little Splenda.

8.6 pounds gone after detox!!! I am sooo excited!
On to phase 2. I am doing a mix of detox during the week, phase 2 on the weekend.

Has anyone tried mixing phases? How did it work for you?

Congrats, Diva! - 8.6 lbs is AWESOME!!!!!! I just started the detox phase myself so I hope to report some happy news by the end of this phase, too. Hearing yours has made me EXCITED!

I'm not sure about mixing the phases - I have alot to lose so I'm not sure if I need to stick to the detox for longer or not.

But anyway - back to you - CONGRATS AGAIN!!!
