Default Going to try this

I just bought this book yesterday, I had intentions on starting today but somehow already screwed up but anywho! Definitely going to start tomorrow. I was just wondering if anybody had any tips based on their experience, and also if during phase I anyone bended the rules a bit and still had their morning coffee? (No coffee sounds too hard!) Thanks!

I think the main point in restructuring our eating is to realize that we need to get over our addictions. You're not benefiting is you're still doing the same thing. You need to realize that you have an addiction and try to get over it and introduce coffee later on in small amounts. Treat it like a treat instead of a neccessity.

I totally agree. It is morning right now and I havent had my coffee, but I dont' feel so bad. I was just getting pumped up with a post i had in the general section cause everyone was saying that coffee doesnt affect weight loss at all....But I totally think the addiction factor always plays in losing weight! Thx for your input.

My tip would be to follow the book! I think it explains everything in detail that is just MO but follow to book and add some working out and you will see results. The detox is the hardest part but once I was done with that it made the whole diet easier. I guess your taste buds change! I think that is what happened with me. Good luck!

PS I never cut out coffee but I am a light coffee drinker. I usually have one 6oz cup per day with cream and spenda!

I just started today too!! I started out looking at the various diets last week and just thought this one sounded GREAT!!! I had to go out of town for my brother's wedding and got home yesterday, and started the diet today! I just got back from grocery shopping and I'm really optimistic about the whole thing! I'd love to meet some people on here who I can keep up with and we can encourage one another, so if anybody's interested, please let me know!!
