Smile Benefits of Yogurt & Oats

2 of our basic foods on Fat Smash is Yogurt & Oats.. so I thought I'd give you some health benefits, so you feel even better about eating these great foods!

Benefits of OATS:
1. Eating oat regularly will lower your blood cholesterol level
2. Buy and eat oats if you're feeling sad. It’s a natural antidepressant - will make you feel calmer and normally used to treat depression, anxiety and nervous disorder
3. Unrefined oatmeal can be eaten on regular basis to reduce stress while cooked oats will relieve fatigue
4. Because of its high fiber content, the other benefit of oats is in protecting us from bowel cancer.

YOGURT:
Yogurt can decrease your risk of contracting colon cancer, because it contains lactobacteria. Lactobacteria is 'good bacteria' because it helps to keep your colon clean and free of wastes, while aiding in digestion. Yogurt is also a rich source of calcium, as most dairy products are. Calcium aids in the development of strong teeth and gums, and can make your bones less brittle, which reduces the risk of developing osteoporosis.

Eating yogurt on a regular basis can help you to absorb the nutrients in other foods as well. For example, eating yogurt helps the body to absorb calcium and B-vitamins more readily, so you can get the most nutritional value out of your meals. In turn, yogurt can also boost your immune system, since you are able to take in the maximum nutritional value of foods, which makes your body better equipped to fight off toxins.

Here is the website I got this info. it also has benefits of all our veggie's and fruits
