Default Newbie Question?

So I want to start the Fat Smash Diet.

I gained alot during pregnancy, went from 135 lbs to 217.

The last time I weighed on a scale I was 187, and for the past week I have been eating pretty healthy, but not strict to the Fat Smash Diet.
Basically I haven't ate every 3 to 4 hours.

I dont have the book yet going to get it tonight, but I was wondering, could I consider this as my first day of phase 1, considering this morning I ate a small bowl of oatmeal and 4 eggwhites.
But I forgot to do a snack 3 hours later, so about 4 hours from the time I ate breakfast I ate tomato soup. (Jwing is canned soup allowed, its just plain tomato?)

I have been drinking water as well.

Hmm not sure if you ended up doing Fat Smash or not.. but I sure hope so, here is a website with frequently asked questions... http://www.fatsmashforum.com/index.php and yes that all sounds P1 friendly as long as you stuck through until the book arrived
