Default Meatless Food...

Hello all,

This is my 2nd time starting FS and I am only on day 2 of Phase 1. Are we allowed to eat the MEATLESS BOCA BURGERS?? They also have BOCA MEATLESS BRATWURSTS, CHICKEN NUGGETS, AND PATTIES? Can we eat these too? They are soy and when reading the ingredients it didn't say anything that we couldn't have. Just wondering...'cause if so, this is a good alternative and adds more variety. Thanks!

In the FAQ it says you are allowed. And Other posters seem to have eaten them regularly and still lost weight. My problem is what to put onthem!! I like a little sauce or something!!

I have looked at the ingredients of some of these foods and some do have cheese and/or bread in them. So, be careful which ones you choose. I know that the Boca Burgers Vegan and fine, but the grilled ones (I forget the name- sorry!) are not okay. It is very confusing, but in the end, it will pay off, right? I hope! As for what to put on them, I have found that if I wrapping the vegan burger in a lettuce wrap with some tomato paste is okay. It's still not ketchup or anything, but it adds a little something...and tomato paste is just smashed up tomatoes, so it's fine. Just make sure you don't get a kind that adds anything else to it!

Good luck!

Hello ladies, hope all is very well. Is it wrong not to want the boca and stick more to turkey and chicken. Also the soy in boca is very good for all. Soy is very good for your heart I heard. I was at gnc and will be purchasing a whey complex powder it is a mix of whey and soy which is good for you and instead of making smoothies each time you need to you can easily whip up they whey shake. Mostly is you traveling and moving around a lot.
