Talking New Smasher Here

Hi everyone, my name is Amy and I am starting on July 31. I am doing the extreme fat smash as I need to lose about 15 pounds by Aug 27.

Any advice for me? Also I am a Y dieter so I will be on the strictest plan. Lucky me. I believe my problem is medication working against me. I take Tamoxifen and since I've been on it (3 1/2 years) I've had problems with my weight. I gained 20 pounds when I first went on it and since then I've yoyo'd with 15 pounds. So I am trying to finally lose it.

For exercise I am doing Turbo Jam, Treadmil and I just got the Bean so I am using it too.

I look forward to meeting some buddies.

Hey Amy, welcome! I'm looking to start the regular Fat Smash diet next week sometime. Hopefully it'll help us both reach our goals.

Good luck!

Don't give up Amy! Though I doubt you'll have to, it sounds like if you really stick to this diet it will work for you.

GoalDown50: They are originally from www.mvm.com - but I modified mine personally in Photoshop, so the models there will look a little different.

Hi Virgo. The Fat Smash Diet is, as I understand it, a diet that encourages very healthy eating habits which include a lot of fresh veggies and legumes, and limited amounts of lean meats and fruits (after you graduate to some of the later phases of the diet). At first there's a very rigorous detox segment of the diet which always seems to produce great results, but your food choices are extremely limited.

There is some great info laid out in the stickies at the top of this particular section of the forum (the Fat Smash section), this thread in particular. Feel free to browse and let us know if you have any questions.

I am on ESF and lost 14 in 2 weeks. It will work, but don't deviate from the plan if you can help it at all.

My biggest piece of advice is to do exatly what the book says and plan your days so that you won't overeat, or if you will be dining out with friends be thinking of ways to make your meal plan work. If you follow the book, you will see results. Best of luck!

Hello . I have been on the Extreme Fat Smash for about 1 month and 1 wk and lost 18 pounds. I am on cycle 3 second rotation. next wk i will start all over again. What do you ladies think. Any suggestions. And keep up the good work. God Bless. My meals are normally at 9am, 12pm, 3pm, then 6pm. I rarely snack but if hungry or feeling lightheaded then will. you should be ok and make sure to drink plenty of water and that you are taking a multi vitamin. That helped me.
