Weighed today...didn't lose and didn't gain I cheated a little bit over the weekend so that's why I didn't lose. I also did not work out at all either. Started back over today...I think I will lose some by next week
Hey all now that my 9 days are over I will start weighing on a regular basis. My total weight from start is 5 pounds. Looking forward to getting into the 140s This is where I always get stuck. I am still jogging 5 x a week. It is going really well and surprisingly I really enjoy it.
Today is day 6 of setox for me...can't wait till saturday but I did weigh myself last saturday I know I'm not suppose to but I am in Tops and I had a meeting on Saturday and had to weigh in! Down 3.5 lbs can't weight to find out my total loss! YAY!
Madiwy - I am also jogging but only 3 times/wk right now. I hate the treadmill so much so hopefully when it warms up, I can get outdoors and do it 5 days! Great job on the running!
I am so bummed - today is day 10 on Phase I. I too could not keep from weighing during this phase. At about the 1/2 way point I was 5 lbs down - I was sooo excited. Then I saw this thread regarding "enough calories" - I was concerned that I was not eating enough too because I was easily below 1000. So, I tried upping my calories the last 2 days - I know I am probably in the acceptable range now - I am making sure I get both the oatmeal and the brown rice. However, I have gained almost 2 pounds in the last 2 days! I have not cheated one time. I was hoping to be 10+ lb lighter today - instead only 3 or 4 and going to wrong direction! I am very frustrated!
I had the same thing happen to me. I wasn't eating enough so I started eating more rice & oatmeal and my body gained a few lbs mid detox. I detoxed 2 extra days, worked out everyday and it fell off no problem. You can't weigh yourself every day because womens bodies fluctuate so much. When I fell off the wagon the first 2 weeks of December, I had gained 6 lbs in 2 wks. I lost those 6 lbs in 3 days of detoxing. I find that if I weigh during the week I vary 1-3 lbs almost every single day up and down. Don't stress over it. Weigh at the end of your detox (if you decide to do it again or extend it a few days) and then weigh weekly. If we weighed every day we would all be crazy Good luck. Lem
I only exercised 3 of the 9 days. I need to work on that. Still, after 9 days I was expecting a little more weight lose. I'll stay in detox a couple of more days.
Don't be discouraged...I am telling you, the weight will come off. Even if you can walk 30 minutes a day, it will help so much, I promise!
I weighed in last week at 143 after a week of no loss. I started detoxing Sunday and am happy to report I am down to 139!!!! So, I lost 4 lbs and detox doesn't end for me until Mon. But I will admit I weighed 2 days ago and had only dropped 1 lb and I told myself not to be discouraged. I did my cardio every day and sure enough it worked. Our bodies so weird, I have told myself to try not to focus on the scale so much and be happy with any loss but that is easier said than done.
Wohoo saturday finally came! I lost another 3.75 lbs this week for a grand total of 7.25 lbs while on phase 1 which I am very happy with! My goal is 2 lbs a week if I continue to lose at that rate I can be at my goal by september I know it gets harder towards the end but this is what I am trying for atleast!
