I came up with this recipe yesterday after being tired of omlets, oatmeal, and smoothies. I taste tested it on everyone in my family and it was a hit. Now if I could only come up with a recipe for syrup to go along

.This makes 6 pancakes.
1 cup old fashioned oats
1/2 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3 packets splenda or stevia
3 oz. milk
2 egg whites
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Grind the oats in a coffee grinder ( I got one from Wal-Mart for about $10). Combine oat powder with all the other ingrediants in a bowl and mix well until a batter forms. Spray pan with Pam or lightly oil the pan. Spoon batter into pan (I used a small gravy ladel and it was the perfect amount) and cook over medium heat just like regular pancakes.
