Hey Rixx Did you get my email reply?

Snacks depends on what phase you are in. (I only know about FS not EFS)

Initially, during the 9 day detox, you eat mainly just fruits and vegetables. Then, you shift to allowing more foods. You are allowed to eat vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low-fat dairy, seafood, lean meat, and sugar substitutes. You avoid sweets, alcohol, refined grains, fried food, fatty meats, and fatty salad dressings.

Regular exercise is a big part of this diet as well.

You don't have to count calories and you aren't limited in how much you eat. Though, overeating is not recommended.

You can come up with a lot of clever things to eat with yoru allowed foods... 'apple bake' by slicing an apple, putting 0 cal butter spray on apples, a lil sugar and cinnamon and then topping it with oats, then bake it. Or Putting oats in your yogurt. Or fruit salad. Or new ways to eat your veggies. Looking online for recipes is definitely helpful.

Ideas:
Breakfast: 4 Egg Whites w/salsa & Herbs
Snack: strawberries
Lunch: Boca Soy Patti w/ baked sweet potato (the only potato allowed P1)
Snack: Yogurt & oats
Dinner: Soup or Big salad lots of veggies :-)

Good luck girly!

Oh another thing... instead of sugar or sweetners the best thing to use is Stevia.

Stevia has many excellent properties. The body does not metabolize the sweet glycosides from the stevia leaf or any of its processed forms - so there is no calorie intake. Stevia doesn't adversely affect blood glucose levels and may be used freely by diabetics. Also, it's sweeter than sugar so you only use half as much.

That apple bake sounds good, maybe I'll try that with spenda and cinnamon! For my snacks I do baby carrots, fruit, 7 saltine crackers, 14 almonds....basically anything listed on the snack page of the book. My thing is nuts and seeds are listed on the snack page, but I keep reading on this site that nuts and seeds aren't allowed on P1. I'll continue to go strictly by the book *wink*
