Numpster, I have a heavy heart today, but it is for us that are left behind as I know she is in Heaven ,rejoicing. She was a great inspiration to me,
Numpster, may God bless you and your family .

To my wonderful sisters in Christ,
I have had confirmation today of the suspicions I have had about my husband accessing on-line dating sites.
I have tried to talk to him about it prior to now but he has denied it and got angry.
Things have been very stressful and I have been unwell but I would be grateful for your prayers.

Well, hello, everyone! Here we are another day or so closer to Christmas….how many of you are done with your Christmas gift buying and preparation? I'm soooooo not! I'm having a hard time getting into the season…I mean, I have the decorations up and glad DS2's home from college, but circumstances are conspiring to take away my Christmas joy. Still sad about Rosebud, plus, I dislocated my hip on Friday and haven't been able to leave the house. I'm finally off the crutch, but still have to take ibuprofen for the pain from the stretched tendons, etc. DS2 and I may try to go to town for groceries and some Christmas shopping today, but thinking it will have to be a short trip with plenty of places to sit or just rest the leg.

We're not even sure what we'll be doing for Christmas, but probably just staying home. DS1 finally has a job, but still has a huge fine and probation for his last offense of driving while revoked (he just can't seem to understand why he has to obey the law-he gets that from his real mom and her family, who never met a law they weren't willing to break as often as possible-not sure how DH ever really got involved with her, but he says she was more 'normal' back then). So, anyway, the DS1 family probably won't be able to come down for the holiday. Maybe, I'll ask if we could go get the grandkids for a few days while they're on Christmas break from school.

DS3 is having semester finals this week then he'll be on break too If anyone here has any wisdom regarding type 1 diabetes and foods, let me know. DS3's girlfriend has type 1 and has been having a lot of problems-she passed out in the shower at home alone a couple weeks ago and laid there for about 45 minutes until she had strength enough to get out. I'm never sure what to fix when she's over or what to watch out for. We're worried about her.

Well, I guess I'd better get moving so we can go to town. Plus, have to rouse these boys to get the trash out! Take care and have a blessed day, everyone!

Hi Christian friends,

i should pop my head in here more often

Prayers for everyone who asked, life sure has it's difficulties, doesn't it?

If i could ask for prayer for the phone to start ringing for work... Husband owns an auto body shop, he's the sole operator and does wonderful work however the phone hasn't been ringing at all and we lost 2 jobs that would have carried us through the winter
He also needs prayer for his health and please keep our kitty cat Reilly J in your prayers, he survived a cancerous nasal tumor (ALL to the glory of God) but he's a special needs cat and i would love not to worry about him excessively in 2014 and am asking God that he still be around and in good health--we have no children and this is the last pet we have

Thanks so much

Susie-Prayers for you and your DH and your kitty. We all know how it is to worry about our furry friends that God has blessed us with.

Hello to everyone else! Hope you're all having an enjoyable Christmas season! Almost New Year, again---can't believe it's almost 2014!

Well, just popped in to say hi for now. Have a great evening and tomorrow, also. Will try to be back soon, but have to take DS3 to Rochester Tuesday because the broken hand hasn't healed like the local docs said it would.

Take care and God bless!
