I agree Rosebud, a friend had it done once . She lost a lot of weight and just had it done again because she gained it all back and she is loosing again but I believe she had some complications 2nd time. It is a scary operation. I think they need more info are experience in it. The best way in loosing weight is to learn how to deal with stress ,get determined, balance diet, exercise and watch the scales go down ,down down..........

BOOTSIE ~ Ya, I'd bet we all know people with experience with WL surgery. We've been praying for one of my cousins (Deb M) who is getting prepared to have it done too. We hope all goes well for her. I understand why people try it; but it's just not an option that interests me ...
GARY ~ HAPPY BIRTHDAY to ANGIE! That boating sounds like fun; hope you all had a great time today.
We've just had a quiet weekend at home; some nice, big fluffy ***** falling the last two days. DH even cleared our neighbors lane-opening for him; he's helpful that way (and I pray GOD will bless him for all the little kind things he does for people). Now he's resting up & watching some favorite old re-runs tonight (the Dukes of Hazzard shows I got him for a Christmas gift).
Have a lovely Sunday tomorrow; it's supposed to be a bit colder here, but with lots of too. Keep warm ... (not you GARY, down there in balmy California; keep cool)

HI GALS ~
Well Angie and I had an eventful week-end but still got a lot of rest
For our anniversary on Friday night we babysat our GRANDdaughter and had Chinese take-out. While she was sleeping we watched some back episodes of big Bang Theory. A wonderful evening for us
Saturday was Angie's birthday. We went to San Diego harbor and rode a speed boat around. It was really fast and exciting. We did stop and see sights all along the harbor. If I get a chance I will post a few pictures. It was so much fun. We then went to lunch at BJ's Brewhouse and had an awesome meal and some outstanding beer Spent the rest of the day napping, I did get a walk in with the dogs though. Had leftover Chinese for dinner and watched some TV. Willy Wonka, Under The Tuscan Sun and Benny and Joon.
Today, after church, Angie went to a yoga class while I did some errands around the house. I made a roast and potatoes, carrots and onions for dinner while the football games was on.
I will be busy at work this week but then I should start slowing down a bit.
I hope to post more!
Be Good

BOOTSIE ~ glad you & David are feeling better today: PRZ GOD!!! Oh, and for the in Texas too. Smart girl -- baking cookies for your mechanic!
TREADMILER ~ I suppose from your net name you like to use your treadmill ... remember, with the LORD's help we can overcome any temptation; and he can rebuild our temples too.
BARGOO ~ thanks so much for that link to that site; I was listening to the AUDIO BIBLE for a bit -- love it!!! And, the bible search tool even lets you put in phrases, which my other one doesn't; I'll have to try that out too.
GARY ~ thanks for showing us those pics of you & Angie boating; those ships were awesome ...

Hello! I have posted on here before long ago and wanted to come by again =) If anyone remembers me and that I was looking for a church, I have found a really nice small congregation that my boyfriend and I go to together. Right now I am working on applications to go back to school (for osteopathic medicine) and fostering a dog with a local rescue group. And.... looking for a part time job to make ends meet.
Bargoo, I'm going to check out the site - I've been looking for a nice daily devotional.
Gary, we have a BJ's brewhouse here too... yum! I went a few weeks ago for happy hour, they have some decent specials on their beer and appetizers if you sit in the bar area.
