YIPEE
The church website has finally posted the dedication video of our new community center. I think it is worth watching

It is about 10 minutes long ~ EDIT ~ or more!
If you check it out look for...
1 ~ Don't you just love our windows
2 ~ At the beginning is the building that was torn down for the new center...it was our first church (where my son was baptized as an infant)...then you see some pictures of the sanctuary we are in now...the beige building with the cross on it (where my daughter was baptized as an infant)
3 ~ Look for the first woman that talks (who was a baby when I started going there 27+ years ago) Off her right shoulder is where I ALWAYS sit and have for 27 years

right in the row of Our Good Shepherd window
4 ~ I did the drywall on all the classrooms that are shown in the video

I know you can't see anything but it brings back memories for me. I did not do any work in the new center as we hired a general contractor...I didn't have time anyway with the Lexus we had going...too bad...I do a much better job

but the drywall work on the new building is standard...I just do better
5 ~ When the video goes to the conference rooms....you will see a room then it opens up to a room with windows...those are the rooms Angie uses for her yoga...there is an accordion door she can use to close the room down or in large as needed...she has been using the room w/o windows.
6 ~ Near the end is the Columbarium...I am pretty sure that's where I will end up..my ashes at least!! I am serious too
7 ~ At the end of the video, when they roll the names, you will see my ex-wife's after Emphasis Secretary then Angie and I after Awareness Team Coordinators then Awareness Team Captains ...our 15 minutes of fame
Just click on the post...click on the arrow to start the video...and see why I just LOVE my church!!
And look for your names too! Right before ours...well...where it is posted thanking you for your prayers! It has been a little over a year but you did pray for the center! And I took your prayer requests to the church when we had our prayer vigil...sat in "my" pew...wink
