Omron Pedometer? is it reliable?

I have this omron pedometer HJ-105 (the lil blue one). I use this now for a few days regularly. I meterd/caliberated it according to the manual. I see that I did 1.5 miles today in 20 mins in the park and I was so shocked because it always seemed like 1.5 miles would be too much (may be just my feeling). Or it felt like much more exrcise when I did treadmill for 20 mins in the gym compared to running outdoors in the park today.

I just wanted to know if the pedometers are very reliable to count miles and steps so that I can feel as good as I am after looking at my miles history on it...

I can't tell you how the HJ 105 is, but I LOVE the HJ-112!!! I have had 2 or 3 other pedometers before this one and I never really thought there was anything wrong with them. BUT, now that I have this one, I know those others didn't measure very accurately! If you do a search, you'll find TONS of consumer recommendations that say the HJ-112 is THE BEST and it's only about $20!
