my friend in college (this was in 2000) had the hour long advanced tae bo tape. we would do it about once or twice a week. this was the only time i was ever really sculpted and a true size 4. at the same time i was also eating VERY cleanly and doing the elliptical or running on the non-tae-bo days. and i was 20 and at a super-happy time in my life. tae bo may not have been the only reason i got buff, but i know from all the sweating and burning that it made some contribution to my physique.
I did Taebo for the first time last week with my girlfriend and I lost 1 lb. overnight. I just ordered the Boot Camp elite with the Billy bands. I think it's very good cardio.
oh-- just to add-- i tried the Cardio Tae Bo, and I was a little disappointed. I was looking for something a little more rigorous-- along the lines of the Advanced VHS that we did in college.
that advanced tape is DEFinitely worth looking up on ebay. lucky for me i belong to a gym where we have a similar kickboxing class, so i don't have to do it at home by myself anymore.
