What is the best form of exercise for weight loss? Just lately I have been running an increasing amount, but it hasnt made me lose weight, just maintain my current weight.
Could variations like skipping, running, swimming increaase my weight loss?
It really depends on your body and what you are used to doing. You need to change your routine every once in a while, or your body will just adapt. I do a dance dvd, and it's helped me a lot!
You need to have a combination of cardio and strength training.
In regards to running, perhaps you need to kick up your intensity level. Push yourself hard for 2 minutes then slow it down a little. Then push yourself hard again. Keep going in intervals like that. You should start to see some results.
Variety IS the spice of life. So keep it varied by changing the workouts, the intensity, the type of exercise...
