My husband gave in to my request and bought me the Gazelle Power Pro and I can't sing it's praises enough. I don't think I have exercised since elementary and find it very difficult to walk far without my feet cramping up on me. This machine is my savior and I actually ENJOY using it! I put my favorite show on the tv and walk while watching it. I would advise anyone to get it and it takes up to 350 lbs

Default Gazelle Power Pro & Crosstrainer DVD

Got my Gazelle....been using it faithfully for a couple of weeks now. Can REALLY see the difference!

Also bought the Tony Little Gazelle Crosstraining DVD
(from www.tonylittle.com). It comes with the Crosstraining Gazelle sold on HSN, but it can be used with any Gazelle model. Tony is sooooo inspirational in a nice quiet-kind of way....and you get a SUPER work-out with it! I was trying to Gazelle by myself while waiting for the DVD and it just wasn't the same. Once I got the DVD I really started getting into the program. Now I can last thru half of the advanced part...then after a cool-down I sit on my ball and do weights through the rest of his program, using his music & motivation.

I'd recommend the Gazelle to ANYONE.....especially since I've been an exercise-flunkie for life. This is the very first time I've been able to stick with a work-out and enjoy it at the same time.

Default Freestyle Elite with resistance bands...Love it

I too have a Gazelle, it's the freestyle elite and it has the power bands. It's quite sturdy , and does fold up but it is awkward to move.

I really lucked out, as I found it at a yard sale and only paid $50. It didn't have the manual or a DVD, but I've figured it out. Though it's in great condition it does start squeaking, so thanks for the petroleum jelly trick I'll try it. (I can't remember who posted that tip, but u know who you are, so thanks)

flsunbkdL: I am going to try that DVD thanks for the tip.

tobetheman: How's it going now that you've had it a couple months? Good luck!

I have a Tony Little Gazelle Edge. It works wonders. I've lost 25 pounds in little under 2 months. Good luck.

I have a Gazelle, just the basic one from years ago, and I really do love it! I like how quiet it is, which is perfect for watching tv like everyone else said. Being very heavy myself I actaully did have a problem with mine several years ago - one of the foot slats cracked in two. I was so embarassed. But my Dad reinforced it by gluing the two pieces back together and then screwed a thick piece of wood to it. It's been holding ever since and working great! Good luck with whatever piece of equipment you decide to buy!

I have a gazelle and if you put good dancing music on you can get going quite fast, that is all I do for exercise. Read my ticker to see how much I have lost I can't remember.....oh yeah I bought it from my sister about 6 months ago and when I moved it took a couple months to get it in the house. So I have used it for about 3-4 months.
