Default Where to find workout clothes?

I work out in these horrible gray sweats, and beat-up t-shirts that fit me like tents. But where ever I look, all the exercise clothes stop at a ladies size XL. Anyone have any ideas on where to shop? I'm looking for a more updated pair of workout pants and a couple t-shirts. Right now I'm a 20W on the bottom, and either a 1x or 2x on top. Thanks!

Hi Maria,

I bought some really cute workout sets from Lands End. You can go to their website and order online. I bought these last year - I guess they still have them. They had the bottoms, tops and jackets in a really pretty royal blue, red and black. They have up to a 3X.

Good luck!

LL Bean has some nice CoolMax t-shirts. I have 3 of them. They're not that expensive (I think like $19) and they're WAY better than sweating like a pig in cotton (w/your shirt clinging to you!) On the bottom, I wear a pair of Addidas capris or Moving Comfort tights. I forget where I got them, tho...online somewhere.

I got my favourite workout pants at Gap, I got a long pair, that I love too much just to wear them for working out. I was a US size 18 on the bottom when I got them, and they are loose and stretchy. I also got a 3/4 length. They are black and made out of a "wicking" fabric so they don't hold the sweat. I tend to wear either a cotton tank top (I now show my upper arms in public!!) or a Regatta t-shirt that is also made out of a wicking fabric.

I just got some cool max shorts at Target in a 2x. I know that they had 3x as well. I've never seen any at Walmart over a size 16/18.

I have also been told Fred Meyer is good as is Target, and occasionally Kmart, & Walmart though those may be better for shirts than pants.
