This looks like one wacky (and fun) sport! Called Parkour, it apparently started 10 years ago in France (go figure... ) and is a way to exercise while in an urban environment.

Has anyone tried this? It looks intriguing, though I don't think my environment is urban enough. Now, if they invent something that involves running through cornfields, climbing over horses and under cows (or maybe that should be the other way around?) and vaulting deer...then I could participate.

Oh man - I bet my teenager would love this.

For me? I envision a perpetually bad back, blown-out knees, and a skinned forehead. I would, however, try this if I could run more than 100 feet. And we live in an urban-enough setting.
