First post - weightloss through a marathon
I have spent a few days reading the posts here and trying to decide which forum I want to participate in. Since my primary method of weight loss right now is exercise, I think this is where I belong!
In high-school I hated running, but some time ago I started to run for myself, and discovered a new love for it. Now I have even signed up for a marathon, and in 4 weeks I will (hopefully) cross the finish line! Stockholm, Sweden, June 4.
A little about me:
- 30, living in Oslo, Norway together with my fiance.
- Good at running (3-4 times a week, want to run more but need rest days) but lousy at weight lifting, work as a consultant.
- 95% vegetarian
- Current weight just over 80kgs, so my primary goal right now is to get down to 70-something! Hopefully I'll get down to 60-something. That should be an OK weight for someone who is 168cm (5foot 6inches (?))
