Question Question- increased metabolism??

So, I've been doing bodyrock.tv body weight routines for the past 2 months and I started noticing good changes even within that first week (thanks to push-ups, lunges, and squats). The question is that before BR, I could go on walks, ride my bike, and mow the lawn no big deal, not breaking a sweat. About a week after I started, I noticed that any activity I did, outside of BR, I would notice my thighs would have that good "burn" feeling like you'd get after a workout, and I'd break into a sweat within the first few minutes. Mowing the lawn for 30 minutes and I'm now a sweaty hot mess... I was never like that before. And admittedly I was very sedentary, pre-BR. Is this my metabolism speeding up? Or should I be concerned?

I am not really sure. I have noticed that since I started jogging that when ever I go up the steps my legs feel week...which I take to mean that I gave them a good work out earlier and they are still "recovering".
