Curves

 Good Morning All, I finally founds out to Post a new post after many mistakes :) . I was wondering if anyone on here, has been, or is in Curves?
My 13yr. old daughter and I started curves the 27th of Janurary. I needed to do something for her and myself. Exerciseing together so for has been very good for us. However my daughter is wondering if anyone may know how fast we will see results. We will be going 3 days a week, and we are watching our carb, fat, and sugar intake. If you know of anyone using this plan please help us.
Thanks :D

I joined at the end of December 2003. I went for my first weigh in last weekend. I lost 2 pounds and 10.25 inches for my first month. It is a lot of fun working out at Curves. I started to notice my clothes fitting differently after the second week. By the third week, I noticed my stomach and hips were shrinking. So you should start noticing changes in a week or two. I had a friend take my picture right after joining Curves. When I look at it and then look at myself one month later, I am amazed at the difference I see in my stomach and hips. I think I am going to have her take another picture of me in a couple of months. This way I can chart my weight loss journey. So you might what to take a picture of the two of you in workout clothes and then chart your journey, too. Happy getting fitter together!

Cost of Curves to join? Isn't there also a monthly fee?

Stopped in at our new Curves for Women and found out that the monthly fee varies depending on where you live. Right now they are having a special going, instead of the $149 joining fee, it is 1/2 price($74) and $39 a month. 40 miles away in another county, my friend pays only $29 a month, and it only cost her $60 to join. I am giving it some consideration as it is less than 1/2 mile from my house. I could walk there and back and get in more exercise(if not too cold).

What length of contract terms do they offer? Is it still one year, or do they allow quarterly or month to month deals?
