Has anyone tried Pure Barre or other Barre workouts during their weight loss or are currently doing them now?
I think this is something I really want to try out, the "long lean muscles" sounds appealing to me as well as it being low-impact. I have had problems with my joints in the past and this is something I want to avoid with my workout routine. I have hypermobility and have injured all the joints in my arms multiple times. And certain exercises I have tried make my hip feel... strange, for lack of a better way to describe it.
I would like to start out doing youtube barre workout at home and possibly consider doing PureBarre in the future since there is a location nearby my college.
So... Has anyone tried these and what did you think? Pros? Cons? Overall experience?
Not sure if we normally do this on here but thought I would BUMP up this thread so hopefully more people can see it and there will be a response.
If you have any experiences with this or maybe know someone who does it, please share your thoughts! Or even if it's something you've looked into as well and want to discuss.
I haven't kept with a barre rotation long enough to make a distinct difference. But sometimes I was more willing to do it versus other trainings. I need to try some of the prenatal dvds I have. I have daily method, Suzanne Bowen, P57, fluidity, pure barre, barre3, and bar method. I think I have done the original barre 3, bar method, fluidity, and p57 the most out of all I have.
