Default 30 Day Shred

Heyy
I'm currently recovering from a tonsillectomy, so I'm not about to do any exercise yet, but I have been using this downtime to look on the internet for some exercise ideas and the before and after shots of "30 day shred" have definitely caught my eye!
I was wondering if anyone here has done it? Did you see a significant change in your shape?

Also I have no weights and was thinking of purchasing some. Bearing in mind that I don't exercise at all, what would you recommend? 3 or 5lb weights?

Thanks!

I have had great results with the 30DS in the past. I use 3lb weights personally, but I think when I tackle it again in a year (going to do it again for bikini next season after losing 50lbs!) I would do the 5lb weights and do the "advanced" version.

I lost 9 inches on my body last time I did it (years ago). This time I'm tracking measurements, but only after a week, I definitely see changes in my arms.

I had great results from 30DS at first, but injured myself going into Phase 2 because I have very weak ankles. I'm thinking of giving it a try again soon, but just doing Phase 1 for the whole 30 days.

I'm just finishing level 1 tomorrow, so far I've lost 10.5cm (4 inches) total.

I haven't weighed myself since about a week before I started the shred and don't plan to until day 30... I hear a lot of people get discouraged when they focus on the weight loss angle.

I use 1.5kg (3.3lb) weights because they are what I have. If I go back through the shred again I will get heavier weights.

Speedy recovery!!!

I am starting tomorrow. I have done it in the past, but would always quit after 2 weeks out of boredom. Have since lost more weight and have a trip planned in 5 weeks so I'm hoping this will help me tone up a bit.
