Default Best Yoga Magazines?

I've been wanting to subscribe to a yoga magazine so I can infuse my practice with new ideas. I've considered yoga journal, but it's criticized for having too many ads.
  • Have you read a yoga magazine? Which one was it?
  • Did you enjoy it & why/why not?
  • Was it worth the price?

Thanks!

I can't recommend a magazine, but there are certainly a few decent website/blogs you could follow. I use a newsfeed app to consolidate all the different periodicals I read, and just browse through every morning to see what's new!

A magazine needs ads to stay in business. Don't you watch tv that has ads? I love yoga journal. It has 3 great columns each month - a beginner pose breakdown, a master pose breakdown and a home practice routine.

Yoga journal's website also has great free videos with some fantastic teachers.

Default Yoga Journal Weightloss Issue

I just bought this in the grocery store and it has some great articles: 9 sequences for home practice with good pictures; pose modifications for larger folks; a personal- transformation-through-yoga story, etc. Also some recipes.
