Unhappy Is a little work out still better than no work out?

Ive got a nasty sickness from work (i work at a daycare) and i got about ten minutes of sweat enducing work out in before i realy had to rest as this sickness has made me super fatigued. Is that still a win for today or should i aim for more when i can today

Definitely a win! Recovering from an illness is hard on the body. IMO when you are sick, still exercising, and you feel absolutely drained your body is telling you it's had enough and you need to rest. You can ease right back into working out in no time!

Most definitely, you tried your best!

Sometimes I get stuck in the mindset of, "Gotta work out for X minutes or I'm a complete failure" and end up feeling so pressured or discouraged that I give up completely because what's the point if I don't hit my goals? I don't find that kind of thinking to be very helpful though. Any exercise is better than none and being gentle with yourself, especially when you're not feeling your best, is important.

Take it easy and feel better soon, Victoriann.
