Default Fitness Reboot!

Well Folks here I am again, almost a year later! I did my first round of P90X last year here....

My (now) fiance and I did the whole program. I lost 15 lbs and was in pretty good shape! Unfortunately after we went to Europe (where he proposed!) we never got back on a regular workout regiment and I had stopped counting calories. So...a couple more short vacations, and getting busy with everything else I gained 10 lbs back since May 2012.

So with the holidays over and not having other backyard work since it is January, here we go again. And this year I have a wedding to maintain for! I hope I can learn to maintain this time around as I completely fell off the wagon after losing weight last year.

KEEP ME ACCOUNTABLE!

p90x Day 1---Thursday, January 2nd

Back and Chest and ABripperX- 260 calories burned

total calorie intake 1760

Well doing that workout for the first time again felt like major Dejavoo! I don't think it went as bad as it was the first time last year, although I knew what to expect this time.

P90x Day 2---Thursday January 3rd

Plyo -466 calories burned....and that's me sandbaggin!
(I have a heart rate monitor by the way to do the calorie burn estimate)

total intake of 740.

I know it don't seem like I ate much but I was sleeping most of the day since I am working on mids.

Well I am very very sore. Our poor nephew looked like he wanted to die LOL.
I didn't do terrible, but by the end of last time I was doing way better. (I guess that makes sense!)

Day 3--Friday January 4th

Well it seemed everyone was completely unmotivated to do anything. All of my major muscle groups hurt! I tried to get the boys to work out but 2 against one, and the TV being in the living room did not let me get a chance.

I did well on calories, 1300. I even resisted a beer after having to deal with the ******* city inspectors. Not bad. Still it's only a few days in...

ok I finally measured myself....
I am currently.....153.4 lbs as I measured
belly 35 1/4
butt 40 1/2
arm 12
thigh 22 1/2
hip 38

My Starting measurements last year were.........
Weigh In.......157
Belly- 37 inches
Upper abs- 30 1/2 inches
***- 42 inches
Arm- 12 inches
Mid Thigh- 23 1/2 inches

After P90X last year 4/25/2012
Weight............144.2.............12.8 lbs lost

Belly................34 inches 3 inches down
Upper Abs.........29 1/2 inches 1 inch down
***.................39 1/2 inches 2.5 inches down
Arm..................11 1/2 inches 1/2 inch down
Thigh................21 1/2 inches 2 inches down
Hip...................36 inches 3/4 inches down

So aside the 10 lbs I managed to gain back in less than a year, you can see that my measurements went up too... I guess that's expected. I can definitely tell I gained as my biggest motivator was my duty belt killing me at work. It was getting SO tight and uncomfortable...I just sat there in misery on how horrible it felt. (not to mention wearing my undies you could see my fat rolls on either side of the elastic..gross) I have been wearing it half *** lately because of that...so the quicker I drop weight the better. I know a few lbs will make a difference on that....and everything else is vanity.

Day 4

Shoulders and Arms + abripperx-300 calories

I worked out when I got off my Midnight shift at 8am. I figured this way I didn't have to fight for the TV and I needed to shower anyways.

So far I am at 430 calories for the day, (just woke up), but we are going to a friend's for the Vikings game so not sure what I am eating there. I should have wiggle room, permitting it's not too fatty!

So an update.....I am guessing a total of 1470 calories. I had two squares of home made lasanga, and couldn't begin to guess how many calories. So I threw 1000 down just for good measure. Hopefully I am not underestimating, but it's not Olive Garden so I think I am pretty safe... On to day five..

Day 5

So much for a workout, again! grr! I got home at 8am and went straight to bed. I got woke up by my fiance working outside...since it's dark after he gets home from work I decided I should let him finish what he was doing as I still have 3 weeks of midnights left.........So I went to Walmart for a "quick" stop, which became over 200$ worth..haha..and then Sams club....By the time I got home I was pooped. I had a snack and went to bed.....

But on the bright side I slept 9 hours today, and only ate 1240 calories! So not a loss at all. Just need to keep on pushing with the P90x.

Day 7

Legs and Abs...skipped the back, which NOW I get why Kenpo is after the Legs and Back workout......my back is soooo sore from the punching! Eeesh!

Still burned 265 calories, not bad...and WOW I just forgot to turn off the bathtub! LOL It's been running for like 20 mins..luckily the overflow thing worked...otherwise that would have been a mess...we are going to soak again in the jacuzzi tub!

And good to report a week ago I weighed 155.8 and this morning I was 153.8!!!!!!!

Hope that is all real weight as I know how water weight is tricksy...so that's a plus!

Total calories for the day 1255.

Day 8

Well I was too sore to do anything P90x wise, so I did manage to drag myself out of a jog. Not bad, burned 300 calories..which was good cause I had made a superb pizza and rewarded myself with a crisp Blue Moon and ended up with a total of 1380 calories! Can't complain!

Day 9

No workout again! Grr, worse yet only 4 1/2 hours of sleep.....I am dragging *** right now. I ate 1325, so at least that is good.

Mids suck, never any regularity! My Mom and Dad are on their way here to visit from MN, they should be here tomorrow. So we will see how well I do with my calorie counting and exercise while they are here........

We are going wedding dress shopping too...I would have liked to wait a little longer to lose a few more lbs...but I guess it will have to be adjusted anyways!

Day 11

OK I managed to force myself to do some Plyo...burned 325 calories. Which was good cause once the folks came I lost count of calories as I had a few beers, nuts, home made sushi, and a few margaritas.

I think I can say I was just under 2000..but no telling as I didn't dissect everything. I couldn't eat much sushi..I really haven't craved it since I got sick a few months ago (from eating TOO much)...so now I got a taste aversion to it
