Exercise stall?

  • I'm so confused I've been dealing with frustration because I stalled for weeks. (1350 cals a day and light-mod exercise, 2L of water a day) then for a week same cals same water no exercise and lbs dropped. Then I started exercising again and stall!!!! What is going on with that??

    You might want to think about upping your calories a little too. Try it for a week or two and see what happens
  • My experience with weight loss and exercise has been that sometimes it takes my body some time to adjust when I change my routine. I'm not exactly sure about the science behind it but I think that when you're building muscle your body holds on to more water? Just keep it up and your body will normalize after a bit. Either way, you should see a difference with inches lost even if the pounds aren't flying off.
  • You mention «light-mod exercise» I would increase the intensity of your workouts... More incline, intervals, speed work, heavier weights, etc...
