Five miles around NYC last night! I had an hour to kill before dinner with a friend and was totally avoiding the treadmill - it was actually really fun - I ran along the East Side which isn't that busy.

Congrats on your double digit run Nikel!!!

Good luck w/ your urn Deva.

Congrats Nicole! I remember my first double digit run clearly!

Ran 6 yesterday at lunch - it had snowed like crazy on Monday and yesterday was all melty so I was running in ankle deep slush. So that kind of sucked, but NO PAIN FROM EITHER IT BAND!!! Woot!

Ran at lunch. 4 miles, 14-minute mile but at least it was trail running so I felt like I was doing something.

A friend of mine is trying to convince me to join her running club. It might be nice to have a long run schedule and plotted out for me on the weekends instead of having to do my own.

Anyone have a good half marathon training plan. My longest comfortable distance is 5 miles. Thinking of running a half in late April/early May. Anyone have a good training program or a good running app?
