Just checking in to see how everyone is! I have gotten the flu so no exercise for me. Hope everyone else is feeling better. I am hoping that the flu goes away soon, I want to get back to walking or bike riding...

Can I join in too? I've been looking for some way to stay accountable to my exercise plan. I work full time with an hour commute each way and I have a toddler and husband who I adore and look forward to spending all my free time with. As a result, to best fit in my exercise I try to be on our treadmill by 4:30 most mornings. Yuck!

I live in the Pacific Northwest so its often to rainy to run/walk outside so its the treadmill and sitcoms on the tv to get me motivated. Would love to have you ladies to rely on as well!

Hello. Another Oregonian here (Portland). Just got a Leslie Sansone DVD I'm going to try in a bit. Viewed it yesterday and I loved how doable it (well starting with the first mile segment--ha ha I think all 5 wouldn't work yet) seems. She was so much more pleasant than the leader on the other vid I got (and not a bit skanky!).

Welcome Itsmytime and Luvcats. Good to see both of you here.
Kygirl, yeah the flu sucks. I and my daughter get over it, and my son gets it. I get him just about over it, plan on going to church in the morning and at 3 am my daughter calls, "mommy come in here" And 102.4 fever. WE were up for 2 hours and finally fell asleep so my dh let us sleep in. She woke up with snot all over her face. GRRRRRRRRR We did our time, lol.

My daughter and I have been starting walking. A couple of days we walked about .6 miles and then yesterday we did almost a mile and today our walk is going to consist of 1.25 miles. She has been pushing me and keeping me at it. I know its going to kick my butt but going to stay at this distance for a little while and work on walking it faster and faster. Then once I am going at a good pace and it seems pretty easy I am going to add in some running
