I really wanna start working out. I don't to exercise videos (uncoordinated) and am a SAH mom without a car. I was thinking about purchasing a stationary recumbent bike because I can't afford a decent treadmill and I do like riding a bike (though I can't do that much now, since I have a 3 and 5 year old). Do they provide a pretty sufficient workout? Is there an advantage of a recumbent one vs. an upright? I read somewhere that basically they're more comfortable, but do they provide as good as a workout as the other?
