Wii Fit

  • Working out outside the home is proving to be quite a challenge for me. I love to take my dog on walks but I have a 4 year old daughter. She likes to come along but gets tired before I do and wants to come home. I've tried taking a stroller along for her to ride in but she's too tall and her feet drag the ground. I also end up having to carry the stroller or push it empty if she doesn't want to ride, which gets in the way of my walking or jogging progress outside. So I am looking for more interesting ways to exercise indoors.

I have a Wii Fit and it's fun to do. Do any of you also supplement your exercise with a Wii Fit? I have a few workout DVD's too but get bored with them quickly. I like a change of scenery and I do get that with the Wii Fit's free run game.

Today I spent an hour on the Wii Fit. 20 minutes of it was in the Free Run game.

Do you use the Wii Fit? If so, what do you like to do on there and how often to you work out with it?
  • I used wii fit plus when I first started out and found it to be a great starting point as I had very little fitness ability at all. As I gained some strength and balance etc. I bought biggest loser challenge for wii and that is still my main source of exercise. I still like to do wii fit for "fun days".
  • I want to get the Biggest Loser Challenge! I keep hoping I find a used copy of it at GameStop or something. Do you get a good workout from it, or at least good for a video game?
