Today was Day 1 for me. The arm stuff was a big challenge. I was trying to use 5lb weights, but I'll need to find something lighter for tomorrow. Hopefully, something along the lines of cans or water bottles will work. Although today wasn't too bad, I'm sure it's going to get even tougher as the week goes on. I know I'll feel super accomplished when I get through it, though!

I have to use 3lb weights... I'm weak like that. But... that's what Jillian uses.. right?

ANYWAY
I woke up super sick this morning, couldn't hold anything down. I have no idea what hit me. Seems like a hangover, but I didn't drink anything! To top it off, my cat brought in a bird and plopped him on my belly. The bird is still alive! Just bleeding and so stunned. I put him in a box and called a rehab center for birds.... but I don't have a car and don't know how to get him down there. =/ Looked at buses and they are intense! I have a friend that can give me a ride... tomorrow... when they are open again. They also want a "recommended donation of$40" and I'm FLAT broke right now.
I'm hoping he's ok by tomorrow... and I might not donate... does that make me a horrid person?
Maybe later in the year I can do some donations...

Level 1, day 2, done. It wasn't quite as bad as yesterday; I didn't feel like I was going to vomit by the end. Now I'm drinking some water and I've taken some ibuprofen since I was having a bit of trouble with stairs today.

I don't think so. You are trying to do a good thing and it is a recommended donation rather than a fee after all.

I can't find my DVD of this anywhere. I moved right after I bought it so I wonder if it got lost during the move. I am going to buy a new copy when I get paid. You guys are doing great.

I'm glad you found it free on youtube! I originally tried out a copy from the library. Only problem is that it was in too high a demand to check-out for 30days.

Level 1, Day 3 done and no feeling like I'm going to puke. yay. My thighs are still killing me though, making my bedroom on a different floor than the bathroom situation a little tough.

I finished Day 2 today. It was both easier and harder than yesterday, but I'm not sure how to explain that. I used water bottles for weights today which was perfect for the 2 or 3 arm exercises that were too hard for me. I think I will stick to the 5lb for the chest fly, which was far less of a challenge.

Thanks, Katiejean! I've been doing another workout DVD 'til I could buy Shred--now I can do the workout sooner.

I'm in....just completed L1, D1. I did okay--some of the moves are the same or similar to what I was doing last week. But it sure got HOT in my house! Where's the fan!

I didn't get Day 3 done yesterday. I went kayaking with a friend for 4.5 hours so honestly I was whipped last night and didn't get around to Jillian. I'll do Day 3 this morning though before I head for work.

Just finished day 2, level one. It seemed harder today--was out of breath & had to stop a couple of times...maybe I watched more than worked-out yesterday??

Went to Walmart this morning to buy the DVD but they didn't have it so bought it on eBay. Will hopefully be here this weekend. I also took a look at level two and it's scary!!

How's everyone else doing today?

Hi Eskielover.

I completed Day 3, Level 1 today. It was the toughest day yet. I wanted to quit 6 minutes in, but kept going. Once I got into it I felt better.
