Actually you'd be surprised how many calories walking can actually burn. I just did a short walk because it is so beautiful (and I was tired of reading chapters in my textbook). I walked for 38 minutes and went 2.58 miles, I burned 195 calories. My friend and I do long walks together sometimes, averaging about 6 miles or so in roughly an hour and a half for time and I usually burn around 450 calories. So, yes chances are it is correct! Enjoy those easy calorie burns, I know I do!
