Swam over a mile!
 

I just had to share that I have FINALLY hit the 1 mile mark in the pool! No fins, just my arms and legs. I even used a kickboard and just kicked for 300 meters, the last 100 just kicking were hard. Very hard.
Actually, it was over a mile. My swimming buddy told me a mile was 1700 meters, then said wait no - its 1750. I think I was glaring at her at that point. So I swam 1750 meters and we went back and googled to find out it's actually 1609 meters, 1760 yards. The pool is definitely meters. Yay for swimming more than a mile!

Good stuff! Have you tried open water swimming at all? if you can cover a mile in a pool then you can probably swim further in a lake as your wetsuit gives you buoyancy and you can get into a rhythm with your stroke. Are you aiming for two miles now lol?
