I am just beginning Jillian Michael's 30 day shred and I was wondering if people who have tried it have noticed any significant muscle building? I am using 5 lb weights instead of the 2-3 lbs recommended. From what I read, it seems like there is no substitute for lifting heavy, but I thought this would be a good introduction to using weights for me. Any success stories?
Good call on the 5p weights that's what I use too. I highly recommend this DVD - I love it. Great results. Also, take before pictures and measurements because the scale might not budge for a while but you will see size loss. Good luck!
